The walk was long, but not grueling. They mainly walked through trails left in the forest that led into the open plains near the town. There seemed to be a large wall, guarded by armored men. Moonlight and Orion approached the gate leading into the city, leaving their weapons on their backs.

"Why are you here?" One of the men asked. Orion looked around. Within his sight, he could spot twenty of them.

"We require a safe entrance to the city, if you'd please." Moonlight answered with respect in her voice.

"You'll need to be stripped of your weapons and armor." The guard explained. Orion began to reach for his swords, with the guards pointing their weapons at him. Orion stopped, putting his arms back down.

"Sorry. Should've told you guys first." He apologized.

"Enter the gate. In the checkpoint, give them any and all weapons attached to your armor and/or body." The guards moved away, signaling for another to open the gate. The large metal contraption began to raise itself, allowing entrance into the inner workings of the large wall. Orion stood in awe as he watched the machinery work around. Moonlight approached the guard at the checkpoint, with Orion standing behind her. The guard took a paper, reading the terms aloud.

"Once any and all weapons have been removed from your person, you may safely enter the city of L'rai." He finished. There weren't many terms to begin with, so his speech was fairly short. Moonlight slowly drew her spear, setting it on the table before her. She removed the pauldron resting on her shoulder, and took a dagger from her waist, setting it on the table before walking through. Now, it was Orion's turn. He removed his helmet and the rest of his armor as multiple daggers fell out of the pockets. Orion removed the swordpack from his back, dropping it on the table. He searched his pockets, taking out daggers and kunai galore.

"How many weapons can a guy have?" One of the guards asked.

"For me, never enough." Orion chuckled, a slight bit of insanity showing through his joke. For Orion's final touch, Orion took a small, metal bar from the back of his waist, watching it extend into a long pole of metal. After dropping it onto the table, Orion was finally able to walk into the city itself.

"What took you?" Moonlight asked, propping herself against the wall.

"A guy can never have enough weapons, am I right?" Orion chuckled again. The two began to walk through the streets, their eyes darting from building to building. Most were marketplaces, but some were carefully made woodcraft homes.

"Let's find you a cloak or something. That suit looks a bit too..." Moonlight began.

"Don't tell me twice." Orion responded immediately. He scanned around, searching for some sort of shop. Then he spotted it. A large display of clothing, walled off by glass. "There!" Orion took hold of Moonlight's wrist, jogging towards the display. There were multiple sets of clothing worn by posed mannequins. Orion's eyes could never settle on just one suit. His darting eyes were sparkly with enthusiasm. "Should we get this? Ooh, or maybe this one?" Orion seemed like a kid again, free-spirited and joyous.

"Calm down, Orion," Moonlight chuckled softly, "we still need to figure out how to pay for this." Orion looked back at Moonlight, then to the pedestals the mannequins stood on.

"Is the currency the same here?" He wondered aloud.

"By the looks of it, no. Too bad I forgot to bring any FairiCoins with me." Orion seemed to think, turning away from the displays as his eyes scanned the buildings.

"I don't doubt that it might take some time to find a place where we can earn a quick buck or two." He murmured aloud. "We should start searching." Orion and Moonlight began to walk along the dirt-stained roads of the city. Their eyes scanned the many buildings they passed.
