"No going back." Moonlight said. She took her spear, but Orion stopped her.
"I can't let you." He stated simply.
"What? No, I'm coming with you!" Moonlight backfired, but Orion blocked her path.
"No, you're not. I'm not risking your life." Orion replied.
"Orion, just listen!"
"I am listening! And I'm making my decision!"
"And I'm making mine! I'm going with you!"
"I'm not losing you again, Moonlight!" Silence fell between them; Orion was on the verge of tears. "I've already lost you once. I'm not making that same mistake again."
"Orion..." Moonlight stepped forward. "You don't need to worry about me." Her hand caressed Orion's cheek. "I want to go with you. I want to face Eclipse; even if it means I die."
"But I don't want to lose you." Orion let a tear fall. "Please, just sit this one out." Moonlight looked down, sighing.
"Okay." She exhaled. Within the blink of an eye, Moonlight's arms were pulling Orion close. "Please...come back..." She whispered.
"I will." Orion assured, breaking away and running into the castle as Moonlight watched the dark clouds begin to circle the castle.
...
Orion stood in the desolate throne room. He walked forward, not unsheathing any of his weapons. "Eclipse!" He yelled. "I seek your demise!" Orion glared at the figure sitting on the throne. Orion walked forward, refusing to take out his weaponry.
What are you doing? The voice in Orion's head asked. Take out your weapons! Orion gave no reply. He stood before the stairway of the throne, prepared to kill Eclipse.
"Well, it took you long enough." Eclipse scoffed. "I thought you'd get here earlier."
"Cut the crap." Orion ordered. "You took everything from me. Now, I'm going to take everything from you." Eclipse only laughed.
"You really think that you can kill me!?" Eclipse mocked. "I'm a Legend, child; it's impossible to kill me!"
"Wanna bet?" Orion leaped up to punch her, but dark tendrils held him in place. Orion only watched as Eclipse approached him with a much more stern face.
"You are nothing. Nothing to me; nothing to everyone, including your little girlfriend out there." Eclipse ran her finger along Orion's jawline.
"Want to know how many times I've told myself that?" Orion backfired, nearly biting her finger. "More than I can count." Now! Darkness launched out at Eclipse from Orion's body. The tendrils dropped him as Eclipse staggered. Orion took out his sword, plunging it into Eclipse's gut. Eclipse fell to her knees as Orion pulled his sword back, sheathing it once more. "I thought you'd put up a better fight." He stated coldly. "You're weak." Orion scoffed walking down from the throne. He could hear chuckling from behind him. Spinning around, Orion saw Eclipse's body absorb the darkness Orion shot at her, her body reforming quickly.
"You really think a simple blade can end me?"
"So you can be killed; you admit it!" Orion smirked mischievously. From the shadows, monstrous beasts rose, circling Orion. "This again? Why don't you come down here and fight me yourself!" Orion taunted, taking his sword again. The shadow beasts lunged out at Orion, but the teen was too quick.
Those are Eclipse's guards. Kill them swiftly. The voice in Orion's head suggested.
What do you think I'm trying to do, moron!? Orion backfired as he sliced one of the beasts in two. "I should take up workshop class when I get back!"
