When Inoichi Yamanaka arrived at the hospital room, she told them everything.
Kasami told them everything she knew and Inoichi verified the information. She talked about her life in the hideout, and the experiments performed on her. She also explained to them how she just wanted to run away because of 'certain events' that happened.
"What 'events'?" the Hokage asked. At this Inoichi just looked at the girl sitting on the bed, he wanted to say something, not to have her talk about such a traumatic experience but he wasn't fast enough.
"What do you think happens to a girl when she is left with a bunch of sick men on a daily basis, lady Hokage?" Kasami looked at the woman in the eyes and it was enough for her to understand what she meant.
Shizune looked at Kakashi and she wanted to cry imagining the type of life this poor girl had. Kasami continued talking about how Itachi Uchiha found her half-dead and helped her. She also told them how she sealed her wound with his kunai leaving a nasty mark and his family crest on her skin. She then told them how Sasuke found her and guided her toward the road where she was found by the bandits and the rest they knew.
"I still don't understand why Sasuke would help you?" Tsunade looked at Kakashi, "what does he gain from her being here?"
Kakashi looked at Kasami and then at Inoichi, "It depends, Inoichi what were Sasuke's last words to Kasami?"
Kasami looked at Kakashi and then at Inoichi, her cheeks started getting warm and she looked at the blonde man with wide eyes. "Well they spoke, among other things," Inoichi said feeling the beads of sweat building on his forehead. He had a teenage daughter himself and he knew it wasn't right to expose her intimacy like that.
"What things?" Tsunade asked with an arched eyebrow.
"umm, I saw..." Inoichi looked at Kasami, she tried to hold a stoic face but her blush and the way she was fidgeting with her fingers gave her embarrassment away, "Well he felt bad for her and everything she went through, he just wanted to help."
Kasashi saw the way Inoichi struggled to explain the situation. He knew Inoichi wasn't going to expose the girl or whatever she had with Sasuke in front of everyone unless it affected the village in some way.
"It's weird for Sasuke to feel for others," the Hokage said and eyed the girl on the bed, "how close were you to Sasuke Uchiha?"
Kasami looked at the woman, her stoic face faltering for a second but she recovered quickly, "I wasn't."
"Just with Kabuto, then?" the blonde commented without thinking. Her comment made almost everyone in the room feel pity for the girl on the bed.
"Lady Tsunade!" Shizune was the only one to speak after that, "that is so out of-"
