Adeline POV

-Meanwhile in Auradon-

Looking into my pearl finish shell pocket mirror, I swiped my finger underneath my eyes to ease the slight puffiness under my eyes from my late night last night before snapping it shut, looking up at Jane as she continued to fuss about how her hair was laying and how "bold" she thought the cat-eye eyeliner I did for her is. Love her... but a cat-eye eyeliner is far from bold, maybe for her, but not for the general public, I mean goodness... does she see what I wear every day?

I tucked my mirror back into my tote bag and tilted my head a bit, scanning her over as she stared at herself in the mirror and tinkered with every little thing her eyes pointed out. Audrey tried to console her, even pitched in her efforts to try and find what was putting Jane off, but I can see it from here.

I've always had an eye for fashion and overall design or how to look aesthetically pleasing, so I slowly stood up and walked over to her vanity to put in more of my personal efforts. Audrey and Jane went quiet as I walked over, and Jane turned to face me and just stood still. The girls know the drill, stand still, no moving, and I'll fix what the problem is.

I gave her one good scan over before reaching over to her vanity. I grabbed a makeup wipe for the sake of efficiency and quickly swiped it over her lips, she had a red lip on because she saw online that red lips and red nails attract the male gaze... which is gross all by itself, but it also drowns her. She's just not the complexion for such a shade, it's too bright, and for the rest of the makeup she has on it looks definitely a little odd. I got all the lipstick off and tossed the wipe before snatching a pinky-tinted lip balm instead, which is both better for her and this look, and practicality.

Next, the earrings are far too bulky, it attracts the eye to her ears in an odd fashion. Everyone loves a good hoop every once and a while, but not for today's outfit. I plucked the earrings from her ears and flicked the earrings back onto her vanity and snatched some much daintier silver crystal dangle earrings that caught the eye but in a far more complimentary fashion. I quickly put each on, much better.

Finally, I took off the headband she had put on for... some reason, and ran my fingers straight through her hair to ruffle it up a bit to get it off of her scalp. We need... volume, I mean you can't go wrong with volume, especially since I literally just gave her curtain bangs last weekend during our girl's slumber party. I reached over into my bag and pulled out a travel-size volumizing hairspray, I never leave home without it, and ran one hand straight through her hair again to lift it up before giving each part a quick spritz. Tossing the spray back into my bag, I then grabbed her blowdryer and set it to cold and just blasted her hair, and face just a bit, with the cold air.

And easy as that, much much better.

I turned the blow dryer off and set it back down. Turning her back towards the mirror, I grinned a bit and watched her eyes light up the second she looked herself over, looking at me through the mirror as she set her new bangs in a good place,

"How you do that so easily still amazes me Addie, I look so much better!"

She somewhat shrieked, ah... see? I do love doing things like that, I love making ladies feel better about themselves, and seeing as I have an eye for appearances it isn't too hard to tinker just a bit to make their best features stand out. Like the bit of light peach blended eyeshadow and light peach highlight to accentuate and lift her cheekbones and brow and how they make her blue eyes stand out, seriously, color theory is a winner every time. I smirked a bit and let out a light sigh as I grabbed my bag and put it on my shoulder,

"I know right? Thank you and you're welcome"

I said as I got myself together just a bit more before we headed out. Jane texted us this morning in a frenzy of not knowing what on earth to wear today so we had to come to her dorm first, but now we gotta get going, we like to do a few laps around the school before class after all.
