chapter five

as soon as they entered the shop, heeseung would giggle over the way jake keeps squealing over some plushies. he kept mentioning how a purple bear would be adorable but heeseung's eyes drifts to a huge one, basic colors.

"are you actually going to make yours like that?"

"yeah? what's wrong with it..." he shrugged his shoulders before leaving with the bear's skin, he had to ask a worker to fill it up, but he didn't really expected they would fill the bear by there "oh my god" he muttered to himself but heeseung was standing next to him, attesting the same exact thing, they're both staring at each other, one hid his mouth and the other choses to laugh his ass off.

"that bear is clearly violated" he scoffed but Jake eyed him.

"oh you think so?" and now they're both laughing, it surely feels nice time to time, they're not always like this, but sometimes it happens they'll have a quick laughter for each other "we should eat after this, at a cafe maybe?" he suggested to heeseung but this one is slightly perplexed "really?" he asked, and jut now Jake's bear was ready for its new home, he hugged the plushy so tight that heeseung expected it to burst.

"well yeah, what's up?"

"I don't know, last time you asked to go somewhere to eat and said you'll pay well you throw that lame excuse about wanting to use the washroom and you never came back each times"

"oh that" he left him hanging, walking around the shop, he felt embarrassed by his old behavior yet it comes back all the time, like now, he's trying to avoid heeseung "are you reconsidering your offer?" he appeared behind him, surrounding him like he's not completely there.

jake was used to this, the way heeseung would appear out of nowhere, it didn't scare him anymore.

"no, I'm just thinking about something"

"oh? what is it"

silence filled the poor space separating them, when Jake turned around, heeseung's nose stumbles jake's. A little shocked from the previous contact, the boy moved away quickly to pay for his purple bear.

Like it never happened "happy shopping!" the young man said before jake leaves the shop to look for another one, heeseung followed him until they both stop in front one shop in particular, they're in a mall so there's a lot of shopping places around them "where did you put your bear?"

heeseung turned around, shaking his booty to show him how comfortable the big plush was "you're giving it a piggy bag ride? how ironic" the softness of his laugh tickles the depths of heeseung's ears, it's flattering and comforting, even if Jake isn't the best buddy you could ever dream of, he's still enough for him, nothing surpasses him "are you going to enter the place or not?" He's not always patient, and it's known to Jake.

when he turned around to see his expression, he giggled once more, not for long since the smile he had left his pink shaded lips "you're not going to enter that place with me, jackass" he weakly punched his shoulder although heeseung looks completely lost in his thoughts "why not? It's just a shop like any others here" he's being sulky, it happens pretty often because of jake, and recently it's everyday, they're always bickering over something "because if you do other customers might think you're my boyfriend..."

"does it matter?"

"oh shut up" this time instead of punching him he pushed him on the side "I'll come back quickly, okay?"

"fine"

"don't move, stay there would you?" he's acting like he's not the one who leaves all the time, besides being told to not move makes him want to move.
