GRADUATION DAY! 👨🎓👩🎓
LAURETTA'S POV
"Who saw left shoe abeg!" Faith yelled.
"It's near the door!" Jane yelled back.
Yup, that's how it has been since six o'clock this morning.
It was the day of our graduation, the day we vacate from high school and probably move to the university or whatever.
The girls came for a sleepover at my house last night in order to prepare and go together.
I was sitting in front of the mirror while Jane, our professional makeup artist did my makeup.
Yeah, Jane has always been this makeup freak who puts blush or concealer on anything she sees right from the very first day I met her.
"Isn't the blush too much?" I complained.
She placed her hand on her chest and gave our a mock gasp.
"Are you teaching the pro her own job? it's like you don't want James to fall head over heels for you." She queried.
"Ah, sorry madam pro." I teased.
After some minutes she was done with my makeup and headed to Damilola's face.
Zainab came with her henna kit to draw some henna on my hand.
"I want a flower, a beautiful flower with James' name secretly written on it," I told her.
She looked at me for some time, and laughed.
"Wahala for who no dey get man." She said.
"Andrew is now what?" I frowned.
"A guy," She cooed and dipped the he in a thingy into the ink.
"Okay oo."
Soon we were done with everything and set to leave the house.
I heard a chime coming from my phone.
I brought it out from my phone and saw two messages.
One was from the bolt driver which we ordered earlier.
The other one was from James.
"Oya oo, The Uber man is here!" I announced.
"The other Uber guy is here too." Faith said.
"Other Uber guy?" I asked, looking confused.
"You don't expect all eight of us to fit into one car do you, and besides, one Uber car doesn't allow more than four customers." She explained.
"Yeah, it's true."
You must be wondering how we became eight. Well, apart from me and my five friends, my sister and her friend Tracy, decided to join us.
We all walked down the stairs like people walking on the red carpet.
The fact that the principal of Winners and the principal of City High decided to host our graduation ceremony together was fascinating. But, that doesn't mean you won't know who is who. Hehehe.
I turned back and looked at my friend's dressings.
Faith, the very girl who dislikes short clothes, keyword dislike, not hate.
She wore a purple and black ball gown which was obviously sweeping the floor, the center of the gown was black. It was a one hand sleeveless cloth. Her hair was knotlessly braided with purple and black attachment. She wore a case heel which made her a feet taller.
