LAURETTA'S POV❤

I woke up to the sound of a ringing bell the next day. Noise immediately erupted in the room as Adesua kept waking sleeping Faith up for her towel, which she borrowed yesterday. I sat up on my bed and stared at the empty wall, at the same time thinking about my life. Funny but a lot of people do this right?

In a few days, I won't see any of the girls, probably forever. Well except for my friends. I climbed down from my bunk, the first place my eyes landed was on the glaring orbs of Stacy Peters. She shut her eyes after half a second of glaring at me, that was when I noticed the earphones around her ears.

Like did no one hear the bell or what?

"Good morning Laurie, how was your night?" Adesua asked.

"It was nice thanks" I gave her a broad smile.

"Faith doesn't wanna wake up, can you please help me with your towel I'll be out in a jiffy" She begged. "The game is about to start" She added.

"Sure" I smiled and gave her my pink fluffy towel.

"Thanks" She said and sniffed it a little. 

"Gawd, smells like strawberries" She shrieked and entered the bathroom.

I turned toward Jane and Zainab to see them still sleeping their souls out, I huffed and went to my luggage to bring out my today's clothes. After searching endlessly I brought out a pair of dark jean shorts and a crop top, I didn't know what game we were to play today but I hope my dressing would be perfect for it.

Just then Adesua came out soaked in water. She was clad with my pink fluffy towel and a colourless fancy hair bonnet wrapped around her head. Immediately she was out Stacy dropped her headphones on her drawer beside her bed and walked out of the room.

"Won't she at least bath first?" I cringed as I looked at the door.

"She has bathed since, even before I woke up. She's like the early bird here, she wakes up even before the birds in this forest and baths before leaving the room" Adesua who was now seated on her bed rubbing her white body lotion said.

No wonder no one sees her for like a whole day.

"Good morning", I heard Zainab say, she stood up and took her scarf which was lying on the bed and covered her hair before proceeding to the toilet.

Immediately after she came out I dashed into the bathroom with my towel which Adesua had already dropped on Faith's bed.

After washing myself thoroughly, I came out with my towel wrapped around my chest and my pink bonnet to cover my Summer hair which would soon be taken down in a few days or so. Everyone was up already, which made me wonder if I had stayed in there for long, cause one minute they were sleeping like dead souls and the next minute they are on their bed talking like they'd been awake for long.

"Finally, Shift lemme goan and bath and get ready for the game" Faith said and gave me a slight push before entering the bathroom to take her bath. Adesua was already dressed in a grey sweatpants and a white big polo. She was sitting in front of the mirror in the room, packing her braids in a ponytail.

We all stood in front of the game master waiting for our last game in the camp. As usual, he was with his 20 leaves exercise book.

"Good day students, I won't be giving my usual speech today cause we'll be going straight to business. We'll be playing two games today. The first one is very easy, you will have a lot of fun in the game" He said.
