Chapter 9: Gotta Save 'em All!

Ben: "This is so boring!"

Y/N: "Oh come on, it's not that bad"

It was a Friday afternoon, and The Resistance were sitting around at their job at Nora's restaurant.

Clementine: "Besides, this isn't meant to be fun, this is supposed to be a cover so we can do hero work in Union City"

Ben: "But that doesn't mean we can't make it a little exciting"

Marinette: "I think that working at a restaurant is very exciting. We get to meet new people every day!"

Manny: "Besides, it only gets busy around mid-day"

Will: "Which is actually coming up real soon"

Y/N: "Oh, I'll go start the warmers"

And with that, Y/N left the room.

Finn: "I'm with Ben on this one. Life is short. Why waste it when you could be having fun, y'know?"

Ben: "What about you Danny? I know you agree with us"

Danny: "Actually, I think that if Union takes over the entire hero population, no one will be having fun any longer"

Y/N then peeked out from the kitchen.

Y/N: "Hey, we're supposed to have a food critic come in sometime soon, could you help make sure everything runs smoothly?"

Will: "Sure, no problem Y/N"

Y/N: "Thanks!" (He went back into the kitchen)

Clementine: "Alright, let's get to work. I'll wipe down the tables"

Manny: "I'll sweep the floors!"

Danny: "I'll get any loose dust off of the ceiling"

Finn: "How busy could it end up?"

One small timeskip later and the restaurant was packed.

Ben: "Very busy, apparently..."

Y/N: "Order for table five is ready!"

Will: "I got it"

Marinette: (at the front) "Ok, you will be at table six, please follow me"

Finn: "Ugh, this is so boring..."

Ben: "I know. And the rush has been happening for a full- 10 minutes?"

Finn: "I need to do something fun, I'm not used to working for so long!"

Y/N: "Order up for table three!"

Ben: "I got a plan" (He looks at the Omnitrix)

A flash of green light and a few seconds later and Finn was carrying a tray over to table three.

Finn: "Alright, here's your food sir"
