Chapter 3 // The Garden of Doom

- 2 weeks later -

I was awakened by the sound of the alarm, I shut the alarm off and got off on the bed.

Went to the kitchen to drink some energy drinks or something to quench my thirst. I could really feel my throat dry as hell. Augute suddenly appeared to my back and he went for his coffee maker to make and drink his coffee.

"Good morning Creste..." he said

"Good morning to you too, Augute..." I said followed by a yawn

"I knew I shouldn't get off the bed..." he said followed by a yawn

The coffee maker is finished and he grabbed his coffee and sat down to the kitchen table chair, I smiled softly seeing Augute's eyes are weighing heavily and slowly closing his eyes.
I returned my attention to the refrigerator and grabbed an energy drink and immediately drink it.

Augute on the other hand was just speechless when he is seeing Creste drank all of the energy drink until there was nothing left.

"Are you THAT thirsty?" He said

"Yeah? Never seen a girl that emptied a bottle of Monster in a quick succession?" I said

"Yeah, you know that drinking soft drinks in the morning is not good right? Considering that you're a medic..." He added

"Well, you do have a point... I'll probably eat some cereal then..." I replied

He does have a point though... So, I grabbed the cereal then put it in the bowl, poured the milk in and started eating it. I feel energetic after I emptied the monster drink and I feel like I can do anything.
I finished eating in under a minute and went to the bathroom to take a shower.

Achilles on the other hand was just speechless and was shocked to see that Creste is just THAT energetic but he quickly shrugged it and continued eating.

I finished taking a shower in under a minute due to drinking a monster drink earlier and I don't think it's starting to wear off but I am going to expect that it'll wear off soon. I changed my clothes to my standard military uniform and then the comms opened to life.

"Nusian Superunit designated Gaia, Achilles and Sparta please head down to the deployment sector 4, you're being deployed at Xiang-Li Garden (Garden Map)." The comms said

The trip quickly geared up and hurriedly made its way to the designated location. Gaia with her disaster squad, Sparta with his two swords and a jetpack and Achilles with his drones, teleporters and Armor Peeler joined the forces of battalions that will attempt to capture the last stronghold of the Dummykind, The Xiang-Li Garden.

"Today is where the Dominian Republic falls, this is the day where peace will finally be established after we defeat the Dummykind. We will make history and all of us will be recognized as heroes!" The General said with his confidence and pride.

"According to the intels, The Xiang-Li Garden is currently defended by eight individuals and this individuals are exceptional. They're not your average dummy soldiers. They were the infamous group and the best group I've ever seen, they were the Stronghold 5-5. Even though they successfully defended their stronghold for one week, through our sheer numbers and manpower I don't think they'll ever stand a chance. Show them what we've got and show them that we are going to win!
NEVER BACK DOWN!"

We were motivated by our General, This was our final push and there was no backing now, we cornered the Dummykind and now they're on their last foot. It's now or never and we have to take that chance to end this war once and for all. We were aboard in the helicopters with my disaster squad,
I'm nervous about what will happen... For all I know from that Stronghold 5-5 or whatever they called, they seemed to be a force to be reckoned with.
Sure, we outnumbered them but the General didn't exactly say what kind of armory they had, I mean we've got to learn the enemies as well but I think it doesn't matter now. We're already here so what's the point? We're just going to find that for ourselves. I hope it ends quickly... I just hope.
