Chapter 7 // Epilogue (Part 1)

"So what's the plan boss?" Envoi said

"Simple, we get you airborne via a C-130V variant. Although their radar will detect the aircraft up high and might shoot it down, you guys will go out with your parachutes excluding your scouts since they had the gliding technology..."
The general said

"You have to work fast though, we scattered all of the explosive bags around the forest, use them to blow up the main entrance to the underground base of the Nusian Empire." He added

"Expect a heavy resistance from the Nusian Empire units and also expect that they'll send their superunits to defend their base."

"We also got a valuable information about their new units in their disposal and I'm not going to bullshit you but they're kind of annoying to deal with."

"First up we have the Tranquilizer, that gun isn't a sniper although it looks like a sniper but it isn't, it shoot outs a bolt and when you get hit of those you'll be slowed down and bleed. The worse thing is that along the way that projectile will drop a small radius of yellow substances and when touched it will burn anything who are unlucky to be stepping to it"

"Next up is the medic, this isn't your average combat medic you see on the battlefield but a pure medic, he focuses on healing and supporting without any weapons but the problem arises if they're paired with Gunners, Snipers and Tranquilizers."

"Well... Now that you mentioned it I can feel that they'll be annoying..." V said

"I seconded that" Ghost added

"Anyways this is going to be the full layout of the underground base... At the entrance there will be a full of boxes filled with explosives we need atleast eight of it and place it in this location and take a good long look of it and try to memorize their respective locations."

"Once you do that use the elevator to go to the exit that is a maze like hallway and there are few dead ends though, but don't worry thanks to our superior technology we got to see the full layout of it, again try to memorize it so you don't get lost, it's pretty easy to get lost here and swarmed by the enemies."

"Moving on, there will be a helipad with a helicopter on it and good for you guys it fits for eight person but considering that Makarov is dead that makes you seven so yeah, Anyways rev it up and get out of there but you have to expect the full force of the Nusian's coming to your ass since you are blowing up their base.
Oh and one more thing to remember."

"You only have a one chance in this one, Good luck and Godspeed, Stronghold 5-5" The General said and stood up to reach for the exit.

Me and my comrades boarded the C-130V and equipped out our parachutes. We sat down and waited for take off. I clenched my Vitabow hard as we have only one chance in this one and it really pressures us, but it was for the greater good for the Dominian Republic.

The plane started to move and it was going faster and faster until we slowly flew up to the runway.

- 5 hours later -

"Approaching to target, ETA 1 minute! Get ready to jump!". The Dominian Pilot said

We stood up and stand near at the exit, waiting for the green light, then a few minute later the pilot shouted that we are good to go, we dropped down one by one, gliding our way down to the snowy forest where the Underground Base located.

We deployed our parachute and our two scouts continued to glide down and activate their own jetpacks to slowly descent to the ground.

We got down one by one until all members of Stronghold 5-5 dropped down safely...

We holstered our own weapons and stanced up for the upcoming fight...

This is our first and only chance and there are no retries... We have to finish this one try no matter what, the fate of the Dominian Republic is at our hands...
