Control:

In the complex realm of human emotions, love, pain, anger, remorse, and fate intersect, creating a multifaceted narrative. Love, a fundamental force, brings joy and connection, while pain, inflicts heartache and disappointment.

Anger arises in response to love's disruptions or betrayals, serving as a volatile reaction to perceived injustices. Remorse follows, the haunting voice of regret for choices made, a testament to our fallibility.

Fate, an overarching influence, guides these emotions' courses, often steering us toward moments of love and agony. Unfaithfulness, a profound betrayal, punctuates this emotional landscape, leading to deep regret and anguish.

In this intricate tapestry of love, pain, anger, remorse, and fate, we navigate the delicate balance between our choices and the forces that shape our lives.

So what if we can only make one choice? To choose 1 to save?have love with no remorse or have anger with no pain?

What if we can no longer control who we hurt what if..it's no longer in our hands.

*FLASHBACK *

"Hey, Dad, can I please go with you? I don't want to stay here," Khalil's voice trembled.

"No, this is the 6th time you've asked! Stay with the nanny," Mr. King's words were firm.

"But, Dad, I don't like her; she's mean and she...," Khalil's voice trailed off.

"That's enough! We've had 7 nannies. I'm done getting new ones. She's been with us for 6 months; you should consider yourself lucky she hasn't quit, and she actually enjoys your company," Mr. King's voice boomed with frustration before he slammed the door shut. Khalil watched his father walk toward his Lamborghini, stealing one last glance at his son before driving away.

Khalil's heart ached with the knowledge that his father never seemed to hear him, always showing favoritism toward his older brother, Jackson. Jackson, as the eldest, received more attention. Khalil tried to convince himself that it was because they were preparing Jackson to take over the family empire. Deep down, he knew that wasn't the whole story.

"Khalil! Did your dad leave yet?" someone called out.

Khalil attempted to flee to his room but was caught by the nanny's grasp.

"Khalil, I'm asking you a question," the nanny insisted.

Khalil shook his head, stammering, "No, he's still in the shower."
