chapter 4 - a weekend with my bestfriend

TAEYEON

he went to the living room to sleep on the couch and i jumped on my bed. I'm really exhausted this day and not just me, baekhyun as well. i hope he'll be comfortable on the couch. I really wanted to sleep now but I can't sleep because of baekhyun's yelping sounds. I'm forcing myself to sleep but i really just can't. i went to the living room with a blanket in my hands. i was going to wake baekhyun up but i noticed he's happy sleeping so i just placed the blanket on him and admired his handsome face.

"sleep well baekhyun." i said while caressing his hair. i went back to my room and this was my second attempt to sleep but this time i managed to sleep now.

hours passed, i woke up already because of the delicious smell coming from the kitchen. i guess it's baekhyun cooking, again.

"oh good morning taeyeon."

"morning."

"by the way, thank you for the blanket."

"no worries."

"breakfast's ready." i sat on the chair and ate the food. "baekhyun, can you spend your night again here?" i asked him. please say yes, it's fun having him here.

"i would like to but I don't have extra clothes with me."

"it's okay, there's a nearby store here wherein you can buy some clothes."

"idiot, i don't have enough money to buy clothes. i left my wallet on my apartment."

"it's okay i can pay for it."

"woah, kim taeyeon's good side is alive?"

"I'm always a good girl byun baekhyun." he didn't respond to what i said and he just sticked his toungue out. i can cut it off byun baekhyun and place it on a jar.

so we went to the store wearing pajamas and he's wearing his school pants and t-shirt. of course i have my wallet with me but I'll just use my card for it. kim wealthy taeyeon is my full name, joke. he chose what he needs including the undergarments. and finally, he's done choosing and placed it on the table where the cashier is located. my card's ready, just swipe it.

"thank you for the clothes, taeyeon." he thanked me again. i just nodded and we're now in our apartment once again. "taeyeon, what will we do this weekend?" he asked.

"I don't know just . . . hang out? like going to carnivals and whatsoever."

"great idea."

we took a bath, not together of course (a/n stop your dirty thoughts). we decided to go to the carnival today because we can't just stay here on my apartment you know. we want to have some fun this weekend. i put my things needed like wallet and cellphone in my bag.

we were heading to the carnival now and I'm so excited. i really missed riding on roller coasters and going to the horror house, things like that. we will try the roller coaster first because it is the most enjoyable ride of all times.

TIFFANY

me and nichkhun were about to ride the roller coaster but i just saw baekhyun and taeyeon, TOGETHER. I'm not hallucinating right? are they dating or what? oh taeyeon, why are you hiding secrets from me?

"hey jagi, is there something wrong?" my boyfriend, nichkhun asked me.

"umm. . . look over there." i pointed where baekhyun and taeyeon were. he looks so shocked, cute.

"w-wait, is that taeyeon and baekhyun?" he asked again but this time, with a confused look.

"yes."

"are they dating?"

"I don't know. but i hope they are because look! they're so cute together!" i exclaimed with happiness. I'm happy for the both of them. baekhyun is such a gentleman, I already approved you baekhyun as my bestfriend's boyfriend!

"and what do you think about us? don't we look cute?" he joked.

"we are cute too and to be honest we're cuter than them!" i pinched his cute cheek because he's too cute like my puppy, prince.

we didn't stalk them because we know that they are enjoying their date. a little privacy for the new born couple! we hope them for the best and last long. me and nichkhun just continued our date and we enjoyed the rides but not all. i was so scared in the horror house and I screamed so loud. good thing my bae is with me. we did our very best to hide from them because they might feel bothered when they see us so enjoy your date taeyeon and baekhyun.

BAEKHYUN
tired from riding those rides and screaming so much. my head and throat hurts so much, i need a pain killer. we both enjoyed riding those and after that we went to her apartment to rest and eat.

"what food do you want? I'll cook it for you." I'll try to cook for her even though I'm so tired. I'll still try my best just for you, taeyeon.

"really? it's okay baekhyun. i know you're already tired."

"ani. it's okay. really."

"you're always thoughtful baekhyun-ah. I'll cook this time, for you." really? she'll do it for me?

"let's eat samgyupsal and hanwoo!"

"call!"

we happily ate together. hanwoo and samgyupsal are really the best, i meant meat is the best. don't wonder how she afforded it, she's from a wealthy family. i think i need to get closer to her so i can eat hanwoo and samgyupsal everyday, joke.

we're done eating now. we took a bath then change our clothes and went to sleep. it's my second time sleeping here on her apartment. going to sleep on a couch again but it's okay as long as I'm with my bestfriend taeyeon, I'm okay with it. she went to her bedroom and slept but this time I'm the one who put the blanket on her. it feels so good taking of her and admiring her in the middle of the night. i was caressing her hair and she moved a little bit then opened her eyes slowly.

"o-oh taeyeon, did I disturbed you?"

"umm. . . not at all but. . . what are you doing to. . . me?" she asked half-awake, half-asleep.

"i put a blanket on you. i did the same thing as you so i wanna pay you back." i said while smiling and looking at her eyes straight.

"it's okay baekhyun. and anyways thank you for staying again."

"my pleasure." i stood up from my seat and went back to the sofa. I'm going to sleep now. I'm now contented seeing my bestfriend sleeping peacefully and happy.

today's my last day staying in taeyeon's apartment so i wanted to give a gift for taeyeon. it's 11:49 PM here and I don't have enough time to buy i gift for her. I should've bought gift for her earlier, dumbo baekhyun. I'm just going to write a letter for her, specifically a 'thank you' letter not a love letter.

dear taeyeon,

thank you so much for being a good bestfriend to me~^^. even though you're sometimes cold ㅇㅅㅇ but inside you're warm ㅎㅎㅎ. thank you for letting me stay in your apartment and for letting me cook in your kitchen ㅋㅋㅋ. i must say that you're one of the best bestfriends i had ㅇㅇ but unlike them, you're the prettiest (not actually) ㅋㅋㅋ. I'm really thankful for having a bestfriend like you^^ so that's all. this letter serves as my gift for you since i forgot to buy a nice gift for you~

p.s: please don't forget to call me if you're going to eat samgyupsal or hanwoo, let's eat again together! >.<

too much emoticons baekhyun. still, i think it's enough and importantly it's not costly. i will pin it on the fridge so she can notice it easily. i will sleep now since I'm tired already. I grabbed the blanked and wrapped it around me. i slept and yelped like a puppy.
