A/N: I'm freaking out over Damien's white hair and the sward AF season one finale, ik y'all are too, ill talk about them soooooonnn~ [This chapter is a lil funky but oh well lol.]

Most of us got to leave for the day after we'd finished the Reddit shoot. Once I got home Alex and I made some dinner before sitting down for some smosh while we ate. They put on an eat it or yet it playlist which, in retrospect, might not have been the best thing to watch whilst eating. After a decent bit of this I headed to bed early, not excited about having to wake up early for a morning meeting today.

Once I'd gotten myself out of bed I threw on some black cargo pants, a graphic tee of one of my favorite video games, some red converse, and topped it off with a black jean jacket. I proceeded to pour myself a large cup of coffee, I had picked some up on my way home yesterday, and off I went to the office.

I'd thankfully arrived on time and headed to the conference room for my official games team meeting. I was the first one there. As I started to set up my computer to present a IT guy in a great vest, who I learned was named Tim, graciously helped me with the projector. As Tim and I were finishing up the others were trickling in. Spencer, Alex, and Shayne were at the main table but Damien was off in the back of the room in a strange chair. I started my presentation. Well, I say presentation but this was more like a simple conversation than anything.

I got through what I had written before Damien grabbed my attention. "Hey Y/N? Do you have any dungeons and dragons experience?"

"Yeah, tons! I've played in a lot of campaigns throughout the years and I've DMed multiple too."

"Have you ever written your own campaign?"

"Everything I've DMed, I wanna say except for one game, I wrote myself." I laughed a bit at my own nerdy-ness.

"Ok guys, stop the nerd flirting." Spencer jokingly piped up.

"Not flirting, just need more help writing for sword af." Damien half-laughed out.

"I'm down to brainstorm with you." I smiled back.

"Ok, I see it now." Alex looked at Spencer as he spoke.

"Right?" Spencer responded.

"Alright, alright, cut it out." Damien got out of his chair. "You three are in here too so I'd watch who you call a nerd." He laughed, so did the rest of us.

"Anyway, that's all we really needed to talk about right now. If anything else comes up, well, we all work right next to each other." Spencer said. While most of them left to get back to work, Damien stayed with me while I got my computer and shut off the projector.

"So, I was actually gonna do some writing today if you don't mind helping. It's all I have on my schedule till about two-thirty, three o'clock."

"Yeah, for sure. That's great actually, all I had on my books today was this meeting." I laughed awkwardly.

"Sweet, uh, do you wanna just set up in here so we don't bug others while we work?"

"Sure, do we wanna go grab our stuff?"

"Yeah for sure." We finally left the conference room and headed back to our desks, only to return to the conference room after getting our things. Shayne raised an eyebrow at us when he saw us turn to leave again. "We're about to do a writing session for Sword AF, we're going to the conference room so we aren't too loud." Damien answered Shaynes questions before he could ask them. Shayne nodded understandingly after Damiens explanation.

Once back in the conference room Damien and I sat next to each other at the table so we could collaborate easier. When we were getting set up I realized I had forgotten to bring the charger for my computer with me. I had a decent amount of battery though so I didn't think much of it.

Damien and I got to work brainstorming and writing for sword af. It was a great time. The ideas just flowed so naturally, we'd bounce things off of each other, come up with the exact same thing, and fill in the gaps in each other's knowledge. It was an incredible writing session, we got three sessions fully scripted out. Well, almost...

My computer ended up dying but we didn't want to quit working so I ran home as quickly as I could to get my charger.

I got home around 2:15 and as I was on my way to my room to grab my charger I spotted the Barnes and Noble bag on the coffee table. Damien's JoJo manga. I slung the bag onto my arm before grabbing my computer charger and heading back out the door. I got back to the office 15 minutes later and went back to the conference room but it was empty, aside from my backpack and computer. Damien and all his things were gone. I stood confused for a moment, then checked the time. 2:34. He said he had somewhere to be at 2:30ish.

I gathered up my things and put them back at my desk. As I was plugging in my computer Shayne got my attention, "Hey, Damien and Spencer are steaming for smosh games right now. Wanna go watch with me?"

"Yeah for sure! I've got nothing else to do. Plus I have to give this to Damien." I said with a slight chuckle as I held up the Barnes and Noble bag.

"Sweet, let's go!" He paused for a moment. "Oh you should probably keep quiet, none of the videos you're in are out yet."

"Yeah that's fair." The both of us chuckled a bit. Shayne led me to the set they were streaming from. We grabbed some seats and sat behind the camera to watch.

"Hey you guys!" Spencer greeted us as we sat down. Damien was zoned into the game but pulled himself out to see who Spencer was talking to.

"Hey Shayne! Hi-" Damien cut himself off, remembering I haven't been introduced to the viewers yet.

"HI!" Shayne yelled to diffuse the panic. I covered my mouth with my hand to stop myself from laughing.

"Wait, oh my god, you brought me the books!" Damien laughed when he saw the bag in my lap. "Well now I feel bad because yours are still at my place."

"Ay-yo?" Spencer replied jokingly. Damien sighed.

"Well we went to the bookstore to hang out and accidentally brought each other's books home." He explained to Spencer and the viewers. "Dog I will get them to you tomorrow..." He addressed me, still mostly focused on the game. "Wait no we don't have work tomorrow, shoot, oh god! Oh heck!" He exclaimed in a funny voice. "We'll figure something out!" He yelled to me before continuing the game.

The stream was really entertaining to watch. Damien and Spencer played off of each other well, the jokes just flowed and made the gameplay fun. After a little over an hour and a half they ended the stream.

Damien got up and came over to me, checking his watch as he did so. "I should have time, if you want, to swing by my place real quick and get your books."

"Sure, if you want to, that's fine." I said as I stood up. "Do you want me to head over too, or?" I trailed off, not knowing the specifics of his plan.

"You could, but we can just take my car if you want."

"Yeah, that sounds easier." I laughed a bit. We headed over to our desks and packed up our things. We headed out into the parking lot, "I'm gonna swing by my car real quick to drop off my backpack, hold on." I handed him his books before lightly jogging over to my car, putting my bag in the passenger seat, and jogging back over to Damien who stood, where I'd left him, waiting for me.

"Ready to go?" He asked, still standing.

"Yeah, let's go."

"Alright!" We continued to his car.
