Igor and Hannah found their mid-term examinations easy and they were happy with the results. Igor got A's in both Statistics and Linear Algebra while Hannah got A in Linear Algebra and A- in Introductory Statistics. "I felt relieved after our mid-term examinations" opened Hannah. "I know...I think we should celebrate!" replied Igor. "What do you mean?" inquired Hannah. "Well, just eat outside and treat ourselves." said Igor. "Good idea! It is some sort of unwinding and relaxing our brains." agreed Hannah. "Can we sip a cup of coffee there." suggested Igor as he pointed his hands to a coffee shop. "Very well, why not? Let's go!" replied Hannah.
At the coffee shop, Hannah brought out the topic on John's invitation to her to visit Longmont, Colorado on August 25 for the agriculture fair. She further inquired from Igor if he could come with her to Longmont. Igor replied " I cannot accompany you in Longmont on that day. It is my departure date to Tulsa, Oklahoma to study Master in Business Administration. By the way, who is John? " "John is a former American soldier assigned in Vietnam in the 1960s. I met him near the river one afternoon while exploring the neighborhood. He thought I am a Vietnamese and invited me to visit the agricultural fair in Longmont. I asked him if I could invite someone to come along with me and he agreed." said Hannah. "I suggest you invite our Vietnamese classmate in Linear Algebra - Khoi." I think he will be interested because he is going to pursue graduate studies in Agriculture" suggested Igor. "Good suggestion. I will ask Khoi tomorrow." replied Hannah.
"I can"t believe it! We are half-way done with our summer classes. How time flies!" remarked Igor. "Yup! Soon, we will leave Boulder. You will go to Oklahoma and I will go to Massachusetts." replied Hannah. "I hope we can communicate regularly either by phone call or e-mail exchanges." said Igor. "I hope so. Let us find time to do it." Hannah replied. "Any idea about Massachusetts?" inquired Igor. "Maybe, windy and cold...lots of snow in winter." said Hannah. "I guess Oklahoma is similar to Colorado, like a rural place." commented Igor.
"It's 7 pm and the sun is still shining brightly! Wonderful, isn't it?" Hannah remarked. "It is summer, that's why countries in the northern hemisphere experiences longer days and shorter nights." Igor said. "But thank you for reminding me of the time. I have to buy some grocery items." Igor added. "See you tomorrow!" said Hannah. "Until next time!" Igor replied.
