Ding dong, bing bong

"Ahem... Hope's Peak Academy's School Trip Executive Committee has an announcement to make... It is now 10:00 p.m. Nighttime can be confusing... If you're out at night and accidentally meet a killer, then it sucks to be you! But if you're worried about that and can't sleep, I've prepared a cottage on the hotel grounds for each of you. Every single one of you, please feel free to rest in your own rooms. However, before you go to bed, I strongly recommend you lock your doors. You never know who might be planning to kill you!" Monokuma laughs.

"Bye-byeeeee!"

After the announcement went off, you sighed and looked around from where you stood. You walked back to the Mirai Hotel and exited from the other side. You noticed a bunch of mini houses lining up beside the pool and assumed those were the cottages.

You walked down the path before finding a pixelated version of yourself on a sign. Your eyes shifted to the cottage next to it and saw that it was Ibuki. You shrugged internally before entering the residence. After you closed the door, your breath hitched.

Everything looked exactly like your old room when you lived with Grandpa. S̶h̶i̶n̶i̶c̶h̶i̶r̶o̶'̶s̶ ̶r̶o̶o̶m̶. You shook your head before stopping when you noticed a picture on the bedside table.

"..." You gulped, eyes still resting on the image. It was of you and your late sister. You remembered when this was exactly taken too. It was on her birthday. The last time you both even got to celebrate it together too.

You moved your gaze onto something else. Pictures covered a wall, pictures of people that you knew. Tokyo Manji Gang. Your old friends. But it was for the greater good that they didn't associate themselves with you.

You shifted towards the bed resting on the other side of the door and sighed. You walked toward it and sat on it before lying your entire body on the mattress. You looked up at the ceiling, thinking about Takemichi. Before you came here, you felt something inside of you.

It was like you knew what happened. Was this how it felt to be a trigger? Because that feeling caused you to look at your palm. You closed your eyes, feeling an impulse scratching at you, begging you to kill.
