"... For skinny people, you're awfully slow." Byakuya snarled. The others sweat-dropped, and then Sonia spoke up.

"It seems... You are just too fast for us."

Kazuichi sighed. "J-Jeez... I never expected a fatso like him to move so fast..."

Akane tilted her head, confused. "So... What's supposed to be here?"

"'Here...?' Really...? Hmph... If you haven't noticed it yet... Then I was right to dismiss you all as idiots." After Byakuya tsked, everybody looked up and saw a clock, counting down.

"It looks like a clock, but... Something seems off... It's counting down...!" Hajime pointed out, distressed.

"Was this here when we came last time?" Mahiru asked timidly.

Nekomaru shook his head. "No... I'm pretty sure it wasn't!" He grits his teeth.

Byakuya huffed. "I found it this morning, when I was exploring the island one more time. It's unknown... when it was actually placed here..."

"It appears Monokuma must've placed this object... What does this countdown even mean?" Peko asked.

Ibuki hummed. "I have no clue."

Teruteru sighed, brushing his hair. "Once again, something has appeared that I don't understand... But it's got nothing to do with me. Because I refuse to believe this is happening."

You rolled your eyes. 'Such naiveness...'

"Hold on, could it be...? It better not be a bomb!" Nekomaru growled.

Kazuichi screeched. "A b-b-b-b-bomb!?!?" He stuttered.

"That's not possible. Even if they wanted to, there's no need for a countdown. Even if they were, they would've done so already." Byakyua concluded.

"Then... What are they counting down?" Mikan asked, worried.

Akane hummed, looking at the side in wonder. "It's a mystery..."

"A mysterious mystery, isn't it!?"

Sonia jumped at the sound of the voice, shocked to see who they were. Monomi jumped as well, shocked at Sonia.

"M-Monomi!?" Hinata screeched.

Mahiru sweatdropped. "W-Why are you here!?"

Monomi calmed down and started explaining. "I heard everyone talking while I was patrolling, so I came over..."

Ibuki sighed nervously. "No, not that... Didn't Monokuma kill you?"

"Ah, so that's why you were surprised?" Monomi sputtered out a laugh. "You don't have to worry about that! After all, I can never die!" She declared.

"I see... You must be an undead abomination, risen from the foulest depths of the Netherworld by black magic..." Gundham theorized. He then gasped in anticipation. "Do you want me to make you my thrall!?"

"Monomi's a mechanical stuffed animal, right? Doesn't that mean she can't die in the first place?" Chiaki added.

Kazuichi scratched the back of his head, chuckling nervously. "Now that you mention it... She'd only need, like, a spare or something.

Monomi sulked. "'A spare'... What a mean thing to say!"

"However, you have arrived at the perfect time. There's something I wanted to ask you." Byakuya stated. "What is the meaning behind this timer and this countdown? Answer me..." He demanded.

"Huh? Countdown?" Monomi tilted her head, confused. You pointed behind her, to the top of the statue. She followed your finger and gasped when she had a glimpse of it.
