"This is mad!" I yell to Draco over the noise.
"Just roll with it!"
Everyone's celebrating our win, and I get many slaps on the back and hugs from Slytherin's who have never said a word to me in their lives. Even that snotty Pansy Parkinson congratulates me on my goal, all though she mostly sticks to Draco and gushes on and on about how he caught the snitch.
Righttt, because no one's ever caught a snitch before.
I eat and drink my fair share, and even hold a conversation with Draco about the game before Parkinson comes back, upon where I leave and sit with Daphne.
The party continues until late into the night, when a very disgruntled Snape comes in.
"There have been reports of noise coming from the dungeons. I know you won the first Quidditch game of the season, but please keep it down." He stomps away like a parent who's done dealing with their two year old.
Once he's gone, I state the obvious. "We must have got a lot of complaints if he was that polite."
People nod in agreement.
Most of the Slytherins go up to bed, but a few stay down to clean up. Draco stays down, so I do too, despite my drooping eyelids.
"Now I can say that I've been to a Slytherin party." I half-heartedly laugh.
"Yes you can."
I sit on the couch just for a moment. If I can close my eyes for just a second—
"You should head up to your dorm."
"No. I'll finish cleaning up first."
He grabs my shoulders and shoves me so I'm laying down on the couch. "Shut up. It's obvious you're tired. I even promise I won't kill you in your sleep."
That's the Draco I know. I close my eyes and fall asleep almost immediately.

"Professor Lupin was fired."
I spin around. "What?!" I yell.
"Shh!" Harry shushes me. "It's because he's a werewolf."
I'm shocked, but I defend the point. "Dumbledore wouldn't let someone go because of that!" I whisper.
"He resigned."
"No!"
"Yeah."
I'm distraught at the thought of another crappy DADA instructor. He was a really good professor. AND he wasn't a you-know-who servant. This school seriously can not hold a DADA professor for more than a year.
"So Sirius Black isn't a killer?"
"No, he's actually my godfather."
My eyes widen in surprise.
"Blimey. Alright."
I turn back to the front and think it over. Harry definitely had some madness in him. Madly brave, that is. But I don't think he's lying. He's been through too much to spend time dabbling in lies.
