I hear the sound of birds chirping happily as the sun rose shining its light on everything it touches.

I had the most amazing dream ever. I had a mate, a beautiful one. He was sooo hot and nice and He was the Alpha of a pack and-

Wait this wasn't a dream it was reality. My eyes shot open taking a few moments to adjust to everything. I actually found my mate my other half. I hv a mate

'Yes you did girl and he's a real gentleman to' Storms voice echoed in my head.

I never noticed how big my mates room was until now. His room was really big with white and sage walls, a few black accents here and there. I think my favorite part about the room was his bed. It's sooo soft an massive.

I bet it can fit 10 grown people in it.

I felt so relaxed here so at home and I haven't been here a whole 24hours yet. I get off the bed sluggishly into the equally massive bathroom.

Remember when I said my mates bed is my favorite part about his room. I think the bathroom won specifically the bath tub.

I was too busy fantasizing about all the time I'll spend turning into a prune in the tub to hear soft knocks on the bathroom door.

"Just a minute"

I open the door revealing a short sliver haired girl looking shyly at me "Good morning Luna" she bowed " Alpha Koen Sent these clothes for you and requested to meet outside the pack house when your ready" she held out a pretty red sundress and some sandals looking at the floor.

I kindly take them from her introducing myself "Hello I'm Amaya, Maya for short you dont have to call be Luna."

She looked up a small smile gracing her face. "Its nice to meet you Lu-um Maya I'm Irene"

"Nice to meet you to Irene. Your sliver hair is beautiful It compliments your blue eyes"

She blushed at the comment "Thank you"

She excused herself leaving me to get ready for the day.

I spent 10 minutes in the shower taking advantage of the warm water soothing my muscles. I really didn't want to get out but I didn't want to keep my mate waiting any longer than he has to.

The sundress fit perfectly on my body. I loved it

I borrowed some of my mates cologne since I couldn't find my own. It smelled really good. I let my hair loose slipping on the brown sandals.

Thankfully I remembered the way out the pack house surprisingly I didn't see any wolf present. I'd ask Koen about it when I find him.

Easily enough I spotted his figure standing a short distance from the house. The moment my feet touched the gravel is gorgeous green orbs bore into my brown ones. I could stare at them all day, They're soo pretty. A smile graced his face as we walked closer to each other.

More like he took giant strides to meet me halfway.

"Goodmorning Maya. you look ethereal" His slightly husky voice commented making me blush. He kissed my forehead causing the butterflies in my stomach to flutter around wildly.

"I hope your hungry. I'm taking you out on a picnic. Just us and nature. It's a little bit of a walk I hope you don't mind" He say sheepishly a pink tint appearing on his ears and slightly across his cheeks

The walk through the forest was breathtaking. Trees swayed in the breeze, animals buzzing about, the whole forest was alive with all kinds of sounds filling the air. Koen held my hand leading me further in the forest sending tingles through my hand. My wolf hearing picked up sounds of water flowing through rocks.

"Hear that?" my mate asked "Its a nearby stream we're getting close"

excitedly I dashed off leaving yelling "Come on Koen, catch me"

I ran as fast as I could my giggles sounding through the air. I was a fast running in my wolf or on two legs but Koen was faster. He quickly caught up to me wrapping me in his embrace my giggles becoming louder as we tumbled into the soft grass. Koen stared at me admiring my beauty, pride and love shined through his eyes.

A growl ruining the moment that growl being my stomach. oops

Chuckling he says "How about we continue checking each other out on the blanket of food a few feet from us while you eat."

"sound good"

He helped my up to my feet leading us toward the blanket covered in pillows, food and desert. "I um didn't know what you liked or if you're allergic to anything so I got a lot of options I tought you might like"

His gesture warmed my heart. My mates perfect.

We laid on the soft material Koen reaching out for a croissant placing it to my lips. "Try it"

It was one of the best things I've ever tasted. Turns out it had crème cheese filling inside the pastry. I almost moan to the taste. Almost

Through out the rest of the picnic Koen fed me almost everything wanting my thoughts on the foods.

Now I was resting my head on his lap feeding him a strawberry while telling him more about myself.

"Soooo you can fight a rogue with absolutely no fear but freak out when you see caterpillars?" Koen asked in-between his laughs.

"I can't help it they just crawl my blood. They are creepy lookin"

"Tell me something about you"

"Welll" he drawled "I have a little sister her name is Ruby and she's adorable and a little shy. We are close. She always calls my wolf Demy" " My favorite color is blue, and once when I was 10 maybe or 11 I can't really remember, me and Dom and Dom's sister Aliyah pranked one of the elders pouring a bucket of green slime mixed with water on him. We never got caught tho. Surprisingly."

I laughed loudly at that.

The rest of the morning was spent getting to know each other.

The more I got to know him the more I'm falling for him.
