I knew I felt Dom behind since I was much faster than him but I didn't think he'd take this long to reach the pack house.

'Hey man where are you?' No response 'Dom?' I linked. 'DOM' This time I used my alpha tone so he had to reply. There were a few moments of silence before he replied almost out of breath. 'Koen you're not gonna believe this, while I was trying to catch up to you after you left me behind I took a detour towards the lake at the edge of the borders and there was this female wolf , she was a rouge but didn't smell like one at the same time It's really confusing.'

'Your point Dom?' I asked, not sure where this story is heading.

'She was fast man, and a daredevil like yourself. When I tried to catch her she jumped over the cliff into rogue territory.'

'The same cliff that separated our land from the other side of the forest ?' I was rather intrigued. Most people weren't stupid enough to make that jump because one wrong miscalculation and your body will end up on the jagged rocks below. Of course there were one or two idiots who tried to make that jump and died in the process.

'No, obviously not. I'm talking about the one that's on the other side of the world.' he deadpan. 'OF COURSE IT'S THAT CLIFF I'M TALKING ABOUT.' Dom shouted.

If he weren't my best friend I'd have his head for talking to me that way. There's very few people I allow to speak to me like that.

'When would  you be back, we have to meet with our neighboring pack Deepwater to discus a problem they've been having with rouges.'   

'I'm close, just passed the big oak tree'  Dom replied  

'I'll be in my room. Find me when you're ready.'  I stated closing off the link between us. I was still in wolf form so I shifted behind a tree and quickly changed into my grey sweat pants and black T-shirt I stuffed under the tree as I headed into the pack house.

Since our pack consists of 600 members we have a huge house-well mansion. If some of the wolves didn't live in the mansion they had their own homes on the land. I stopped in the kitchen to grab a snack when I felt a presence behind me. "Koen your back." an overly high pitched voice squealed. I let out an inaudible sigh knowing who that voice belonged to. "Amaya"

I turned around and there she was, right. behind. me.

'Why couldn't you let me throw her out of the pack when you had the chance' Damon growled

Aria reached out to hug me but I pulled away. "Koen" she whined "The other she wolves were being mean to me again. They should know not to mess with their future alpha female."

That sent both me and Damon over the edge, she isn't and won't ever be Luna.

"Aria" I said, trying to keep what little calmness there was left. "You are not Luna nor will you ever be, next time you speak out of line I will ban you from this pack. Are we clear?"

"Are we Clear?" My voice boomed across the house. I'm sure everyone heard it.

She whimpered before replying with a soft 'yes' and silently left the kitchen, passing a small group of she-wolves who were also in the kitchen watching Aria with a disappointing scowl on their faces. No doubt will be gossiping about the scene that occurred between us once I left that place. Not that I really cared.

Short time skip 

I was laying on my bed deep in tought when my bedroom doors burst open with such a force it may as well be torn off the hinges. Dom entered and plopped himself on the king sized bed next to me. " I don't mean to sound creepy but damn your room smells good." 

"umm thanks I guess, Rosa cleaned it for me"

"Shall we go?"

"yes just lemmie change" 

"don't take to long alpha" Dom shouted. I could hear sarcasm laced within his voice

I just realized I made a mistake in writing this. The main female character Maya I put her name as Amaya. then I realized there's another character named Amaya so I changed that character's name to Aria.
