Elena opened her eyes to find herself tied to a chair in one of the classrooms on campus. She was fuzzy and confused- had she passed out? Her head was pounding. Maybe whoever brought her here had knocked her out. But why? Who would be after her now? Klaus left town and he's the only person Elena could see as a threat as of now. Could it be Katherine?? What could she possibly want with me? Elena questioned endlessly in her own mind.
She finally took a look around and saw it was Alarics history classroom that she was being held hostage in. She glanced down to see her dress covered in dirt and tears, her body covered in mud and scratches.
She wasn't sure what to do as of now. Screaming wouldn't do anything but bring more innocent people here to be captives with her. Sure it could just be a crazy person that had her tied to this chair, but she'd been dealing with this long enough to know it had to be something supernatural.
She wished Damon had come to the dance with her now. Oh Damon, she thought, you'd know exactly what to do.
She started trying her best to break free from the tight ropes around her wrists, but only ended up making herself bleed. They were tied way too tight. She groaned in pain, looking down at her bloody wrists and what was once a beautiful black dress now covered in crime scene evidence. She noticed the window to her left was broken, glass shards all over the floor below it. Why would they have brought me through the window? She wondered. No that wouldn't make sense whoever it was must've left through the window but why?? She was so tired of trying to understand what was going on. She gave up on trying to understand and started trying to escape again.
Just as she was about to knock the whole desk over and come tumbling down with it, the door knob turned and someone started to enter the classroom with her. She braced herself and held her breath, not knowing who she'd see.
"Elena!?"
Bonnie shouted in distress. She looked over at Elena, then at the broken window, and then back to her.
"Bonnie! Be careful I don't know who did this or where they went."
Elena said feeling both fear and relief all at once.
Bonnie was walking over to her quickly, her heels clicking on the floor.
"Here let me get you out of these" she said as she untied the ropes that were squeezing Elena's wrists.
"You don't know who did this?? How did they get you what happened?"
Bonnie demanded, furrowing her eyebrows and shaking her bangs out of her face.
"I don't know I went outside to look for Jeremy and someone grabbed me and I woke up here. Look the window is broken why would they capture me and then just leave me here?"
Elena said, becoming more and more frustrated and confused. It seemed fitting that this would be the start of the school year for her. She winced, rubbing her injured wrists as Bonnie set them free.
Suddenly they heard someone else coming toward the classroom. Both Elena and Bonnie felt the anxiety, wondering if it was just another friend or some psycho murderer that ties girls to chairs and then leaves to go get some dinner.
Then Damon walked in and they both relaxed, feeling overly happy to see his charming gaze.
He had on a white t shirt and a black leather jacket, classic Damon, but it never got old. He looked like a male model standing there, ready to save them."What the hell happened??"
He spit out quickly
"I guess you should've let me be your date after all huh?"
