Chapter 7

"Tyler!?"

Elena exclaimed, she couldn't believe her eyes. Tyler Lockwood was standing in front of her. Someone she grew up with, someone she trusted. Carolines on and off lover?? How could it be? He was the one who was after her?? Was he the one who left the notes and kidnapped her to begin with?? What could he possibly want with Elena?

"Are you working for Klaus?"

Elena questioned him, feeling almost relieved to see a familiar face. Then she turned to Jeremy and Anna and realized her relief was misplaced. Turns out she didn't know Tyler much at all.

"I don't want to hear that name ever again."

He snapped at Elena, his breathing picking up as his anger intensified.
She noticed his eyes turning golden and his chest heaving becoming almost.. animal like. Was it a full moon? Elena hadn't noticed a full moon when she looked up to the stars.
Any relief she had felt was gone now as she watched the angry man..wolf..vampire hybrid step closer to her.

"I'm not his little bitch anymore Elena. I won't do a thing for him again as long as I live."

He proclaimed, almost yelling now. It almost seemed like he was trying to control his anger.

"What do you want from me?? Let Jeremy go if it's me you want!"

Elena cried, just trying to understand what Tyler Lockwood could possible want her for.

"Alright listen, I used Jeremy to lure you in because last time when I got you myself your little boyfriend got in the way and ruined my plans. It's my job to get you and bring you to the boss,man. I don't know what the hell he wants you for but it's not my problem. We made a deal and I'm here to fulfill my end of the bargain."

He was about to continue when Elena cut him off

"My boyfriend?? What do you mean? Damon said he didn't save me that night you're mistaken."

She said, her face riddled with even more confusion.

"Whatever you can tell whatever story you want all I know is he won't stop me this time because if he does, I'm killing both of them."

He said, nudging his head towards Jeremy and Anna who were currently shaking on the ground, still tied to each other.

"Please, just let her go kill me not her."

Jeremy pleaded to Tyler, looking like he was just ready for it all to end.

"No Jeremy nobody's dying, please Tyler who are you working for??"

Elena begged him, searching for his eyes hoping to reach some sort of empathy inside him.

Suddenly before Tyler could come up with an answer, the doors of the shed slammed open.

Elena thought her eyes were deceiving her, there was no way- it couldn't be.
But there he stood in all his perfection. He looked a little different than the last time she'd seen him, he had dark circles under his eyes and his hair wasn't as perfectly kept. But he still looked like the most beautiful man she'd ever seen.

"Stefan"

Elena breathed out almost in a whisper. She couldn't even think straight. She should be afraid because of the current situation but the overwhelming satisfaction she felt from being able to see Stefan right now was all she could think about.
Stefan looked at Elena, meeting her eyes for only a moment. They looked sad, stricken with pain almost the same way they were the last year they were at the festival together. But it was something more this time.
He quickly turned to Tyler

"Let them go Tyler. I won't let you get out of this alive a second time."

He said to him firmly, not hesitation in his voice.
