INT. TARHUN LIVING ROOM - MORNING
Emir, fully packed and ready to leave, stands in the living room. His mother, Leyla, affectionately kisses his forehead.
LEYLA
(teary-eyed)
Be safe, my dear. We'll be waiting for your return.
Reyhan watches from a distance, a warm smile on her face as she silently wishes Emir well.
Emir waves at his family one last time and then heads to the waiting car. With a final glance back, he departs for the airport.
INT. EMIR'S ROOM - MORNING
Reyhan, now alone in Emir's room, paces back and forth, unable to contain her emotions.
REYHAN
(to herself)
How am I going to live here alone without him? These feelings he's awakened in me. He expressed his love and went away, But How will I carry these feelings with me for a week? Mr. Emir, I've already started missing you.
A blush colors Reyhan's cheeks as she admits her feelings, and she can't help but smile, even in Emir's absence.
CUT TO
INT. TARHUN LIVING ROOM - MORNING
Hikmet rushes into the Tarhun family's living room, his face filled with anxiety. He calls out to Leyla and Reyhan, who quickly join him, concerned.
HIKMET
(turning on the TV)
Leyla, Reyhan, turn on the TV!
Reyhan and Leyla exchange worried glances and quickly turn on the television. The NEWS is displaying a headline about a plane crash heading towards London.
HIKMET
(in a panic)
It's the same flight Emir was on!
Reyhan gasps and tears begin streaming down her face as she trembles in shock.
REYHAN
(crying)
No, no, no, this can't happen. No!
Leyla rushes to Reyhan's side, trying to comfort her as best as she can.
HIKMET
(agitated)
I'm heading to the airport.
Reyhan looks up at Hikmet, her eyes filled with fear and determination.
REYHAN
(determined)
I will coming with you.
Hikmet and Reyhan exchange a worried glance before hurrying out of the house, their hearts heavy with concern for Emir's safety.
INT. AIRPORT - MORNING
Reyhan and Hikmet arrive at the airport amidst a scene of chaos and distress. People are crying, searching for their loved ones, and the atmosphere is heavy with anxiety. Reyhan's eyes are already swollen from crying, but fresh tears threaten to spill as she anxiously scans the crowd.
Hikmet places a comforting hand on Reyhan's shoulder, trying to offer her some reassurance in this trying moment. Reyhan clings to his support as they approach an officer.
OFFICER
(looking at Reyhan)
All the safe passengers have been rescued, ma'am.
Reyhan's voice trembles as she desperately inquires about Emir's fate.
REYHAN
(teary-eyed)
My husband was on the same flight, but he hasn't come out yet.
The officer's expression shows sympathy as he tries to provide the most accurate information he can.
OFFICER
(softly)
Ma'am, all the surviving passengers have been accounted for. You may want to check the mortuary ward. I'm truly sorry.
Reyhan stands there, stunned and cold, unable to process the officer's words. Hikmet, sensing her distress, steps in with determination.
HIKMET
(resolute)
I'll go and check the mortuary ward. Reyhan, don't lose hope.
With those words, Hikmet leaves Reyhan's side, heading towards the mortuary ward, leaving Reyhan in a state of anguish, praying for Emir's safety.
