A siren sounded.
The souls of the agitated victims came, all chanting seemingly nonsense words. Melody whipped around, as Crystal screamed. 'EEEE! HELP ME! WHERE IS THE SECURITY. DUDE, DOES THIS PLACE EVEN HAVE SECURITY?!'
'Yes, the security is-'
'WHO?'
'Girl, I'm not finished yet! The security dude is The Beast! Duh!' Melody groaned, and Cloudy just gave Crystal a nudge, telling her to stop annoying Melody who was already aggravated. Crystal screamed even louder, as they crept closer to the Survivors. Cloudy clamped her hand over Crystal open mouth, as she muffled Crystal's sound. Crystal shut her eyes, until all she could see was an empty, pitch black world. Cloudy managed to get Crystal to slip into sleep, as Melody nodded her thanks.
'Finally, she's not going to agitated us for a while,' Cloudy sighed.
'是的,' Melody nodded in agreement. As they listened to the souls of the scientists, they started to get more information, and it nearly all made sense. Except for one thing. The haiku.
'The skies stretch across.
The sea lies burdened, weeping.
It begins anew.*'
Cloudy had a confused face, that looked half-suspicious. Melody didn't understand the full meaning, which meant... it might have been related to their working environment. Was this simply a story, in haiku form, or real?

When Crystal finally woke up, she found herself hearing the click-clacking of the keyboard. 'Huh? A dark maze? Where am I?' she whispered. Cloudy explained that they were so close to escaping, and had two more computers to go. Crystal gave -finally-a soft(yes, soft) squeal of delight, and silently cheered Melody on. When Melody came back, Crystal hugged her so tight, poor Melody could not breathe. Crystal soon burst into tears. Melody winced.
She had never been so close to personal touching before.
