Crystal figured it was better to find Melody first, as she was more intelligent than Cloudy. The maze felt like an endless maze, with turns, corners, unknown passages and dead ends. Her back was starting to ache from crawling for what seemed like eternity, and she needed a stretch really bad. She found a vent door, looking around to make sure no one was there, and hopped out to do some stretching. This feels much better, Crystal thought. Time to hop back into the vent. A sudden shriek echoed through the halls. Crystal recognised(recognized) it was Melody's voice. She was awake now? Crystal felt happiness rise in her. But it didn't last long. Footsteps echoed with the sound of running, screaming and roaring. Crystal froze, and she ran to the window to have a look.
'LET ME GO! YOU...MONSTER! YOU SHALL BE BANISHED TO THE DEEPEST PARTS OF THE UNDERWORLD!' Melody screamed, trying to escape the Beast's grip.
'SHUT IT! I DON'T HAVE TIME FOR YOUR LITTLE ARGUMENTS! I DECIDE WHAT I DO!' The Beast roared. 'YOU CAN'T- OWW, WHAT THE HECK?!' Melody had slapped him across the face, hard. She also burst his lip, and some blood splattered on the white wall. He slowly turned around to reach for his hammer, but it was gone. In confusion, he looked up and saw Melody, smirking. She already has gotten herself out while he was distracted. She swung the hammer, and his world slowly faded to black.
'Crystal? Is that you?' Melody spotted Crystal across the hall, eating a bag of popcorn(do not do this when someone is fighting). She narrowed her eyes at Crystal, who finished it and smiled sheepishly. 'Crystal... really? Was that necessary?'
'Of course! Duh,' Crystal replied, which Melody slapped her forehead with her hand. Why on earth am I dealing with an elder sibling who's like this...?Melody thought. Crystal then remembered. 'CLOUDY! WE HAVE TO SAVE CLOUDY!'
'Oh right. Cloudy...' Melody trailed off. 'Um... Cloudy... right...' Crystal looked confused. 'You know what? We will find her later.'
'What?! To our own sister?!'
