Alicia was thinking about what took place in New York, on September 11th, 2001. That attack on the World Trade Center left a huge scar in America. It was a sad time in history. She saw all the images on WRAL 3. She changed the channel, and watched Buffy The Vampire Slayer.
Alicia tried to live like it was a normal day. Flags were at half staff on the state capital in Raleigh. She then went out for a walk in her neighborhood. When she heard people talking about what transpired, she hummed to herself. She didn't want to hear another word about 9/11.
"I just want this day to end!" she moaned.
