Hailee's View
Y/n hasn't said a word to anyone since that phone call 4 hours ago. She walked on stage, did her show, and has been completely silent.
I unlock the room door and see Y/n laying in bed.
"Hey." I say.
Y/n doesn't say anything and I walk over to her.
"I got you food." I say.
"Not hungry." Y/n says.
"There's dessert in the bag too." I say.
Y/n quickly sits up and grabs the bag out of my hand.
"You wanna talk about it?" I ask.
"We friends or something now?" Y/n asks.
"Hell no. You're just the kind of person who will sit around and wait for someone to ask them what's wrong." I say.
"My dad asked me for money and I told him no." Y/n says.
"I thought you were rich. You can't spare a few bucks?" I say.
"I don't think I should financially support someone who doesn't emotionally support me." She says.
"What?" I ask.
"My parents are not proud of me. Shit, after I told him no, he called me a disappointment." She says.
"My parents don't love me no matter what I do but that won't stop them from holding their hands out." She says.
"Wow, I'm sorry." I say.
"If I'm being honest, that's why I was so upset about you taking the number one." She says.
"What?" I ask.
"I never had an issue with you before took it, I really didn't even know who you were. I had an issue with you after you insulted me on Twitter." She says.
"What does any of this has to do with your parents being disappointed in you?" I ask.
"Contrary to popular belief, I am not great at a lot of things." Y/n says.
"If by popular belief you mean your own thoughts? Then, yeah." I say.
"Music is the only thing I've been fairly good at. It's the only thing I've ever been almost number one in. All my life my parents have pressed me to be number one. So when I'm not, I get upset and I can't control my emotions." Y/n says.
"I guess the only number one I genuinely wanted was to be their number one." Y/n says.
"So I'm sorry about all that shit I said about and to you." Y/n says.
"I'm sorry too." I say.
"Truce?" I ask holding my hand out.
"Truce." Y/n says shaking my hand.
Time Skip; Y/n's View
"Now that we're friends..." Hailee says.
"Oh god." I say.
"Let's get to know each other. I'll ask you a question and you'll ask me one." Hailee says.
"There's precisely nothing I wanna know about you but okay." I say.
Hailee rolls her eyes and I laugh.
"Where are you from?" Hailee asks.
"Florida." I say.
"Ew." Hailee says.
"What's wrong with Florida?!" I ask.
"Everything, just ew. So gross and icky." Hailee says.
