Shots rung out and all she could hear was Angels screams, as she shook over her, scared for dear life.

Awakening out of her sleep, she looked to her side and seeing him she felt somewhat better, and safe. She closed her eyes back settling into his arms, and it was as if his hold got tighter around her.

"Goodmorning?" She spoke up against his lips.

"Goodmorning, you tryna go eat some?"

"I don't have an appointment until 12," she spoke. "So we can.."

They decided on Waffle House and when they got there, they wasn't packed.

"I might get a patty melt."

"That's what you always get, ain't no might," he spoke causing her to flip him off. "Oh whatever," she spoke. "I miss my baby."

"I called her last night and she hung up on me, hurt my lil feelings." Bhailee laughed. Angel was with grandma for the weekend hanging out with her little cousins. She had been gone for two days so far..

"Aw, wait till she sixteen and trying to spend the night—

"She ain't." Bhailee laughed. "Mmhm," she spoke giving him a look. Hearing the door close loudly, she jumped causing him to grab her arm. "Bhay."

She looked away. "The door just scared me.."

"You good, Bhailee. I got you," he spoke directly in her eyes. "I promise that shit that happened will never happen again." And his face had a look she had never seen before.. but she trusted him and honestly when the shit happened, she wanted to walk away, but at this point she was falling for him.. and she couldn't..

So she trusted him.

The waitress eventually came up and took their order.. and she received her usual the pork chops and grits while he got his breakfast. They ate before he dropped her off at the shop for her appointment.

When she got in, the receptionist spoke. "Hey Bhay, your client Samir is here," she spoke.

"Okay thank you," she spoke walking the way to her chair. She saw a girl sitting on the couch they had texting on her phone. "Hey you're Samir?"

"Yes," she spoke looking up. "I'm Bhailee, you can come to the chair," she spoke.

"Okay," she spoke standing up in a two piece blue set and white Ones. She had a hat on covering up her curly hair that was in a ball. She was really pretty. "So what style were you going for today?"

"I really want this," she showed her a picture of a hairstyle with a side part in black blunt cut to the breast. "I love that."

"Okay cool," she spoke. "You want anything to drink. We have water and also wine.."

"Really? I mean I can take a glass of wine.." Bhailee laughed. "Okay," she called for the receptionist and she brought her a glass of wine. More into the appointment they had got to talking and Samir was actually really cool. She had told her she was twenty, and had a daughter who was two. "..just wait as long as you can girl, because kids are a headache."

She laughed. "I'm serious about it."

"I hear you, girl," she spoke with a laugh. "Here you go," Bhailee spoke turning her towards the mirror. She smiled, sticking her tongue out and Bhailee laughed assuming she liked it. "You popped your big one. I'll definitely be back."
