JADE

"20 on pump 2?"
The cashier spoke.

"Yea," he responded seeing who had texted him. He wore a white tee, Amiri Jeans, and a pair of Yeezys. His hair freshly cut and he wore a gold Rolex on his wrist. "Alright baby," she spoke as he walked outside..

Walking to his Camaro, he saw Malachi in his truck and a girl was getting out. "What's up Youngblood?"

"What's up?" He spoke. He knew who he was, but he wasn't afraid. "How you feel bout ya game?" He spoke running his hand down his goatee. He had a bottom grill in his mouth, and his chocalate skin glistened though he didn't look one bit like he was hot.

"I feel good about it."

"Aight, I'm happy to hear that. Got a lot riding on you," he spoke with a deep laugh. "I'm rooting for you kid."

"Preciate it," he spoke before he picked up the girl from the door and drove off.

"Baby what you think?" Lo spoke showing him her nails. They were lime green and one had his initials on them. "Jade," she spoke. "Jade."

He was in his phone, Kali was texting him about her mother letting him know she was getting chemo. He had been checking on her more than usual, just making sure she was mentally good. "I guess whoever in your phone more important than me," she spoke smacking her lip.

"Nah, my bad. What's up?"

"Nothing Jade, you can just take me home," she muttered quietly texting a mile away on her phone. He looked over at her in the passenger seat and could tell she was irritated about something.. and he knew nine times out of ten it was him. "You mad at me?" He spoke. "I said my bad."

"Yeah and I don't care. You ain't paying attention to me," she spoke.

"I ain't hear one thing you said and now ion pay attention to you, London? Aight."

She scoffed, "Whatever."

He pulled up to her house not even ten minutes later and it wasn't shit but silence. She didn't even look at him, and got out of the car, and slammed the door behind herself. He shook his head, irritated but made sure she got in, before pulling off.

Threw away your love letters
I thought it'd make me feel better
I finally got you out my bed
But I still can't get you out my head, ooh
I'm sending you one text at a time
I know you're by your phone
So boy, pick up your line
And I ain't too proud to beg

So, what's been said has been said, hmm
And I need you to know
You don't know what love is
And I need you to know, hmm
You don't know
And you don't know what love is
