Chapter 201: Earth Grotto-Heaven

Earth used to be a round planet with blue oceans and large continents. However, shortly after Lu Zheng left, the place transformed greatly. The humans and beasts of Earth called it the Great Commotion.

The planet flattened and its size increased by almost ten times. The ambient Qi became denser and many resource points appeared. The forces of Earth were thrown into chaos as they attempted to monopolise those resource points. Many forces grew and others were wiped off the surface of the earth.

The time rate on Earth also increased greatly that a year in the main world was ten years on Earth.

Most martial practitioners did not understand why Earth suddenly transformed but every paramount god and Immortal in the world knew. It was after all the transition they all yearned for.

It was the transition of a blessed land to a Grotto-Heaven!

A blessed land was a world formed from the aperture of a martial practitioner when they broke through to the God realm. It was the very essence of their cultivation.

After this stage, their cultivation would be based on their blessed land and how much it developed. The tribulations they would face would also be inside their blessed lands.

Paramount gods and Immortals had blessed lands but Venerables and Reverends possessed Grotto-Heavens. The differences between the two were great but the easiest to observe was the difference in appearances.

Blessed lands were spherical planets that existed in the outer void while Grotto-Heavens were flat realms that existed in a single point in space. Back when she was alive, Nuwa was a Venerable and also had her own Grotto-Heaven, Earth Grotto-Heaven.

It was after her death in the hands of Long Aotian that Earth Grotto-Heaven fell to a blessed land.

Now, Nuwa had revived and had returned to Earth. Under her arrangements, it became a Grotto-Heaven.

During the Great Commotion, fierce sea tides caused the various continents to shift and earth waves created more continents. Now, Earth Grotto-Heaven had seventy two continents that spread out randomly from a central continent.

The closer the continents were to the central continent, the denser the ambient Qi became. This was a result of Nuwa’s arrangements.

Currently in the central continent, two people with great might and fame were conversing.

An old wizened man with frail limbs and wrinkled skin stood at the edge of a large pool. He seemed so weak that even a gentle breeze could easily claim his life. He was Old Man Gu Li, the Court Lord of Heavenly Court.

Inside the large pool, a beautiful woman swam swiftly as if enjoying herself. Her face was simple and could capture the hearts of many men but her lower half was the tail of a rainbow coloured snake.

She was the last of the Spirit Snake Race, Nuwa, Battle Goddess of Heavenly Court.

“Lord Nuwa, it seems your cultivation base is quickly restoring” Old Man Gu Li said to the woman in the large pool.

Nuwa swam through the pool like a fish and delved into the far depths of the pool. Within moments, she was emerged with a vital stone in her hands.

“Indeed it has. My cultivation base has already reached the bottom of Acquisition realm” Nuwa smiled faintly from within the pool as she gazed at the vital stone in her hands. At the bottom of the pool, hundreds of millions of vital stones were spread out like sand in the beach.

The vital stones made the pool extremely pure and full of Qi which she used to cultivate. Since her revival, she had never left the pool.

Old Man Gu Li smiled has he nodded: “That is good”

Some million years ago, Long Aotian had barged into Heavenly Court and fought Nuwa to the death. Nuwa lost and died and her grotto-heaven fell to a blessed land.

However, Nuwa was a Venerable with an Immortal Soul. She was incredibly hard to kill and although Long Aotian fragmented her soul into billions of fragments and scattered them all over the world, she still managed to come back to life.

Still, it was only her soul that had revived and with grave injuries. Her body and her cultivation were completely gone. Like Lu Zheng, she had to start all over again.

Even so, Nuwa had Heavenly Court’s support and by bathing in this pool, it was only a matter of time till she reached the Dao Formation realm. After that point, she could easily cultivate to the Venerable realm again. She had done it before and she could do it again.

Moreover, the time in her Grotto-Heaven was ten times faster than that of the main world. This meant that she could cultivate ten times faster than others. In fact, in only thirty years, she had already reached the first tier of Acquisition realm from the Opening realm.

In the entire world, only Lu Zheng cultivated faster than her.
