Part 2 - Missions

A few weeks passed. My time at the Jujutsu High was spent more outside of it than in it.

Since we were students, we had to do missions by groups. Even so, I buried myself with work and socialized just enough to not be forgotten that I even existed.

=====

"Oi!" An arrogant sounding voice came from behind me as I walked through the hallways.

I looked behind knowing it was him.

"Do you need anything?" I asked.

"You didn't grow much." Gojo commented while I stood there confused.

"What..." I inhaled through my nose. "If you don't need me for anything I'll just go." I turned around feeling a bit pissed.

'Cause what the hell?!?!

And just to add fuel to the flame, I heard a 'tsk' coming from him.

=====

A few months passed. Classes and doing missions with the trio were fine so to speak.

"Aiko, since you already have hands-on experience on missions, I'll have to ask you to take them alone. Is that fine?" Yaga-sensei asked.

"It's fine. It was actually what I wanted."

=====

Walking back to the dormitories from Yaga's office. "Aiko-chan!!!~" Shoko and Utahime-senpai waved their hands in the air, taking Aiko's attention to them.

Aiko also waved back with a smile.

"Yaga-sensei told us. Is it true?" Shoko asked once she came near her.

"The solo missions? Yeah. It was originally my plan so it works out."

"Ehhh~" Utahime-senpai pouted and hugged Aiko and stuck to her like a clingy child. "No. No. No. I won't accept it!"

"Then, congratulations, Aiko-san." Geto suddenly came up behind the two girls.

Aiko also gave him a smile. "Thank you."

And wherever Geto is, the little duckling follows.

"I'm sure you just wanted to show off." Gojo stuck his tongue out and looked anywhere but Aiko.

"Then why don't you do it also? Didn't you like showing off too?"  Aiko fired back.

"Tsk. I would've done it already if I could."

"Aaah, so you're weak to do it?"

"I'm not weak!! It's just the stupid rules and elders!"

"Aah, so they think you're still weak to do missions by yourself."

"Like I said, I am not weak!!"

Geto held Gojo back before he did anything. "Ok, that's enough."

"It must be hard taking care of a troublesome child. I feel sorry for you, Geto-san."

Geto still held Gojo back while Gojo still spoke a few gibberish to Aiko which no one paid attention to. "You're the only one that empathizes with me. It'll be sad once you leave."

"That's right! Who'll save me from these idiots once you're gone." Utahime, still hugging Aiko, buried her face on Aiko's shoulder.

"I'm sorry, Utahime-senpai." Aiko said with a smile and patted her head. "But I'll try to visit as much as possible. I'll even bring some souvenirs while I'm at it."

"Oh~ Then get me souvenirs and local foods." Shoko said.

"Me too." Geto added.

"Sweets!" Gojo shouted and all four looked at him.

"Pfft." Aiko laughed. "I got it."

=====

I was already at the airport, just getting out of the car. "Thank you." I said to the driver.

My luggage was just one bag so it wasn't much of a hassle. But before I could walk far, a man sticking out of the crowd took my attention.

Walking towards him, "What are you doing here, Gojo-san?" White hair, tall height, and with that kind of face, it's hard not to notice him in a crowd.

But he looked away. "Nothing."

"Are you here to see me off? Where's Shoko-san and Geto-san?" I wandered my eyes around but I didn't feel their cursed energy.

"I don't know~ And I got a job here in the airport. Don't think I'm here for you."

It was obviously a lie. Even for a Gojo prodigy, he still wasn't allowed to do missions alone.

"Ah, I see. I guess Gojo-san can't just be honest." I teased and smirked at Gojo.

"Agh! Just get on your flight! You'll be late." He pushed me towards the doors while I just laughed.

"I got it. And don't worry, I won't forget about your sweets."

"...You better not."

=====

In the middle of Aiko's mission overseas, she heard some news from Tokyo.

Gojo Satoru and Geto Suguru had an incident while in the middle of a mission. As a result, the criminal, Toji, had been apprehended by the student, Gojo Satoru, and completed their mission.

'As expected of them. They didn't lie when they said they're the strongest.'

=====

"Should we go out and celebrate?" Ieri-san clung to my arms as if she's my girlfriend while the two boys walked behind us. "For moving up to second year."

"Hmm. Maybe we should."

"I want to try that sushi revolver that just opened." Geto-san suggested.

"Hah?! When there's a celebration it should be cake!" Gojo commented.

"We can just do both."

Ieri-san nodded at my words. "Oh~ We can also have the newbies to come with us!"

"But I'll be leaving next week" I stopped at my tracks and groaned.

"Again? Aren't you overworking yourself, Aiko-chan? You just got home yesterday." Geto patted my head.

"You have a point but there's nothing I can do. Jobs just keep coming." I whined.

"Tsk. Bet you'll grow old on your own."

Without pause nor hesitation, I threw my shoes at Gojo yet that annoying infinity stopped it. "Tsk."

"Blegh!" Gojo taunted.

Geto slapped Gojo on the shoulders. "Stop acting so childish, Satoru. She's still younger than you."

"Yeah fits her height hehehe."

Not even a moment later his comment, a palm went flying towards him and this time, it connected.

"Jerk."
