Back then, we didn't know what was on Satoru's mind when he said he'd be a teacher. He's not the best at it. A man who could do things from the beginning won't know how to teach them.

But the way he interacted with the kids may not be so bad.

"We're welcoming the first years next week. There'll be three of them." Principal Yaga said. Me, Satoru, a few managers, and Ieri-san are present. "Gojo will be their teacher but I'm hoping you'll also take the offer, Aiko."

"I'm sorry, but I don't think teaching is a forte of mine. But I'll drop by whenever I'm free. I could give a pointer or two for them."

"That's fine." Then he switched the topic. "Then let's discuss about Kinji Hakari. What he did angered the elders. He won't be able to escape punishment."

"Just let him be suspended. Him out of sight will be enough for those old bastards." Satoru said.

=====

"I'm Maki."

"Sujiko."

"Panda."

I'd say Maki is the most normal one among the first years. Which is saying a lot. "Then why don't we try your teamwork? All three of you, come at me."

=====

I've been out overseas for a month now. If I could just do the same 'teleportation' Satoru uses, these jobs wouldn't be such a hassle.

But before I could continue my walk, a familiar cursed energy made itself known behind me. "Was it 4 years? Since the last time I hunted you down."

He laughed. "Don't flatter yourself, Aiko-chan. You're not strong enough to hunt me down."

I just glared at him, on guard in case he did something.

"How's Satoru?"

"He's fine. At least that's what he shows."

"I see."

A few seconds passed and it was just us, looking at each other. "So you went and revealed yourself just to ask about Gojo?"

He chuckled. "Maybe? I also wanted to talk to you for a moment. And ask if the elders find anything about me yet."

"The best they know is I'm hunting you down. But I've never disclosed any details. I don't want Gojo to come running to you and just ruin himself."

Geto hummed in acknowledgement. "So how you been?"

"Generally, fine. This routine of work, home, and taking care of kids had me living the life. You?"

"I'm also taking care of two girls. They've grown up a bit now. They're also obedient but i still have my worries."

I hummed in reply.

"One of them started puberty. Any advice?"

I sighed. "Follow me."

We went to the nearest pharmacy and showed him products the girls would need. We also bought some meds.

"If they're cramping, give her meds. Only when she can't bear the pain. Just one. Don't want her to overdose or something. Best if she bears the pain with heat pad. But if she gets moody, give her food. Let her have her cravings."

"Thank you, Aiko-chan."

"Don't thank me. I'm only doing this for those children. Not for you." I left him at the store and went on my way.

"Don't follow me."

But Geto-san followed me closely behind. "I just remembered the first time you confronted me about leaving Jujutsu High."

"The fight or the talk?"

"The talk of course." Geto-san laughed. And that irked me, honestly. "I used to say it as a joke but, maybe, other than consuming curses for useless monkeys, you might be the only person who could understand me."

"Is that supposed to be a compliment?"

"Aiko." His tone turned serious. "Why don't you join me?"

I stopped in my tracks. Anger builds up inside me. I turned around.

In the most clear and calm voice, I spoke. "I'm not some lunatic that will commit genocide just to fit the world to my ideals."

"That's a shame."

=====

It didn't take long for the manager to find me. A bloody woman lying down on the street is quite noticeable after all.

I could heal myself but with the burned-out cursed energy, the best I could do was keep myself alive.

'Or maybe I just wanted to keep myself barely alive for this shitty feeling I have.'

And that was enough to go home safely.
