Ashi was walking in the park with her bhabhisa for her evening walk while all the boys including Ansh were busy in the India Pakistan match . Ashi never understood the game even though Rishabh tried explaining to her a few times before but Ashi could not find her interest in cricket she loved running it gave her rush and peace at same time but it has been long since she went for a run she used to go running in the forest before her first marriage but after her marriage she was confined to the kitchen ..
Now she knows her Rishabhji is not like his brother he makes sure he gives her everything she wishes for but she never got the chance to tell Rishabh about her love for running before and now with her pregnancy running seems a distant dream at least for a year . Maybe in future she could tell her husband about her love for learning and hopefully he would take her with him for a morning run.
"Ashi bacha where are you lost?" Her bhabhisa's voice brought her back from her thoughts
"Nothing .....bhabhisa let's go down I am hungry again" Ashi said pouting making her bhabhisa laugh
"Come let's feed my niece or nephew " saying this her bhabhisa took her to their home
"Don't you like cricket ?" Ashi asked munching her sandwich
"I love swimming " when her bhabhisa said this ashi was shocked and she asked, "you know how to swim ? In our tribe ......."
"Yes I know in our tribe girls and women were not allowed to swim but once we came here I learned swimming just for fun but then swimming became an integral part of my life i just love to swim it works as a meditation for me" her bhabhisa spoke with shinning eyes making Ashi smile
"Why don't you go for swimming now ?" Ashi inquired frowning
"Bacha I do go for swimming you are asleep at that time . I go at 5 am" bhabhisa said pulling Ashi's nose "if you want once doctor give you clear post delevery you too can join me"
"Bhabhisa I would like to go for run . I love running . If Rishabhji won't have any problem "
"What problem?" Rishabh asked sitting beside Ashi "bhabhisa bhaisa is calling you '"
"Tell him Ashi it's better to tell him then to stare longingly at people jogging in park" bhabhisa said and went towards the living room making me shock that she did notice my stares
Rishabh turned me towards him making me face him and tucking my hair strands behind my ears he started caressing his thumb in my palm " tell me jaan what problem were you talking about and what was bhabhisa speaking "
When Ashi remained silent he spoke again trying to make her speak "mere Ashi mujhe nahi batayenge? Kya kabhi mene apko Aisa feel karaya hai k ap mujhe kuch bata na paye mere jaan ? I promise i will not get angry or scold you " he coaxed her understanding her reason for hesitation must be his moron brother , whose fear even after his death did not completely left Ashi's mind but thankfully because of Rishabh Ashi did came out of her shell and Rishabh did understands it will take time for Ashi to heal completely
"Rishabhji " she spoke slowly
"Boliye " he encouraged her
"We were talking about sports and I told bhabhisa that i love running ". Ashi spoke slowly not meeting his eyes "and if it is ok with you I would like to start running again after delivery once doctor gave me all clear "
If Rishabh was not straining his ears and trying to listen then he would never have heard what Ashi spoke so slowly
"Come with me " Rishabh said and holding her wrist he made her stand and took her to their bedroom
"I am sorry please Rishabh ji .....I am sorry " ashi pleaded moving backwards as soon as Rishabh closed the door
"Ashi??" Rishabh frowned not understand what happened
"No I am sorry please " Ashi pleaded crying
"Ashi " he immediately took her in his arms "relax take deep breaths" he spoke patting her back "calm down bacha i will not hurt you " he coaxed her "dekho mene darwaza khol diya "
"take deep breaths as your doctor taught you baby" he kept on speaking sweet things and patting her back and head after some time she calmed down a bit he made her sit on bed and passed her glass of water
"Do you want me to go out ? Or call bhabhisa?" Rishabh asked trying to get up but she held his hand
"Please don't go" she spoke once she calmed down
"I am here with you I wont hurt you " he spoke slowly she nodded her head in yes her eyes filled with unshed tears
"Me naraz nahi hu Jaan .....did you got scared because I closed the door ?"
"I thought you are angry because i asked about running?"
Rishabh felt sorry for her and angry at his brother and parents what they did with ashi he could kill his brother once again for that
"Jaan I am sorry I should have not brought you here without explaining but I am not angry it just that i needed to show you something "
