I see, your curious of what happened to Lucy. Well, your are not ready for that tale. But...perhaps I can tell you something else.
Many years ago, barely after the sage's first children were created, there was a stunning girl named Penelope. Penelope was admired by everyone who laid eyes on her. Every boy in the land wanted her as a bride, but no boy was good enough for her. Her attention had made her stuck up and saw everyone as beneath her. The only thing she loved as much as herself was when she would look out her window and stare at the bright moon. Everyone preacher talked of the moon god, Caxmir. They all told tales of their many adventures and told stories of poor women falling for his incomparable beauty. The young lass was taken in by these tales and every night she would sing a song to the moon, in hopes Caxmir would hear and take her as his bride. The day she turned 19, Peneleope's father told her she was to be married the next day to the handsome prince of Clomakia. This news destroyed her and that night she cried to the night's red moon, "Please oh lovely Caxmir, whose beauty surpasses even my own. Take me so I need not marry the ugly troll father has promised me too." This night Caxmir heard her plea and the cruel god decided to fufill her wish. He descended from the moon and took her hand. "You need not fear bountiful water lilly, you shall be saved from this cruel twist of fate." Caxmir said soothingly "I have heard your cries each night and wished I could have helped." Caxmir lead her to the woods and sat her in a clearing. He stood in front of her and cried out loud. "My children, come to me." Suddenly, seven giant wolves ran out of the woods. The sat by their master and growled at Penelope. "You are wench who spurns her gifts". Caxmir snarled "But your life is not what I will take for payment, no I will take your humanity, you shall wonder this world for eternity until you find someone who spurns their own life. Only then shall your curse end." Caxmir then ordered his wolves to ravage Penelope and as she lay bleeding her body twisted. As bones cracked and sinew reformed she had turned into a beast of the night. From that day on she cried every night and every blood moon she would kill all men she would see. As both a reminder of her lost humanity from Caxmir, and a rebellion against Caxmir and all men who were who she blamed for her torment.
Would you do anything to get out of a bad situation. Did Penelope deserve this? or did this cruel joke form from a need of entertainment of a wicked god.
