The tales told by many mortals always show gods as unstoppable beings who control over certain realms or elements, even saying gods are immortal. That is a lie, no thing that draws breath can live forever, at least, not in the world He built.
Lupa was feared by many. As the god of the moon it comes with the job. Many a man screamed in otherworldy terror of the madness brung by the moon. Lupa had grown to love watching the wisest of elders scramble like a newborn babe when his glorious orb graced the sky with it's presence. But one day, a young girl named Lily sat upon a hill, watching the moon in wonder. Lupa decided to speak to this human, and she was startled by Lupa's presence. But soon they both lulled into polite conversation. Lupa talked to Lily all night and promised to return the next night. This was a nightly routine and soon it caught the attention of The High One. The High One was above and below all and believed no god should interact and corrupt a mortal. Causing many gods to whisper how The High One didn't want to indulge them in happy endings. The High One called Lupa to a realm beyond all spaces, but present in the world of the living and the world of those who are yet to come.
"You have broken my sacred law." Booms The High One
"Please your greatness, I get so lonely" Lupa pleads.
"For such a blasphemy, you shall face the worst possibly punishment I can lay. You shall be purged from Khayal." The High One roared.
"No...NO! Please! I beg of you to reconsider." Lupa cried, but it was no use. Lupa was punished and was purged from the realm that encompasses all. Lily however, faced something even worse. Lily had her very being torn out and severed infinite fragments, each one cast to a different corner of Khayal. Forever fractured into an infinite number of beings, unable to remember anything from their origin but a deep sense of not feeling complete, and to fall for a god and a god to fall for them.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! That cracks me up everytime! But I suppose you theorists out there are trying to piece the lore of this collection and The Reining Fear's storyline together. What am I saying!? No one cares about his stories! He deserves it in my opinion, creates countless worlds and timelines but outside of Khayal he is weak! I just love to see it, anyway, next time I'll tell you more about the world I reside in and am talking to you from.
