-Leo's POV-
Two days have passed, and I've been mostly sleeping in and doing some training with Vincent. I'm stretching more, so no more muscle pulling...
The scythe is an interesting weapon, so many things to do with it, and it's amazing. Indigo and Pearl sometimes meet us, and Indigo is also being trained.
The same dream still appears, the white void, and the bow. Nothing much happened, still.
—
It's the afternoon and I'm currently taking a break. Training today was about what I remember and I display what I know. I did alright.
Vincent kept getting distracted and would go off-topic again but it's okay. I laugh every time he does and I'll remind him.
Ribbon came over today except for Pearl and Indigo who were spending time together.
I feel so exhausted.
It's been hard to get up early and taking breaks is only for a couple of minutes.—-
Ribbon sat down right next to me as I stared at my cup of water,
"I heard you've been making great progress so far.""Yeah."
I nod."I thought it would take days to do so, but you learn quick." Ribbon chuckled.
-
"What's wrong?"
He turned his head to me.I look over and then back to the cup.
"I'm just tired."I hesitated,
"I was wondering if I could take longer breaks, I know it will slow my progress down, and I'm not really used to this...type of schedule. I want to be able to reach an accomplishment...my way.."It went silent, Ribbon sighed,
"I can't allow that."
I panic, "Why?"
They raise their voice,
"I need you to prepare for the world that you are going to get yourself into. Not only physically, but mentally. You aren't gonna take any long breaks until we reach the part where we prepare you mentally....""We need you to do this, with us."
"Well, I didn't know about the damn mentality part. I'll try harder until I drop dead. Tell me everything first so I can fucking succeed at something and feel great about it for once." I slammed my fists against the table, I covered my ears.
"Don't TALK to me like that, Child. What is with yourself and success?" Ribbon glared.
I continued to cover my ears, "I don't care...I don't care.." I repeat over and over.
—Vincent's POV—
I look at Ribbon who had anger in their eyes, they have reasons - but they aren't executing it well.
I whisper in their ear, "Take it easy on him, don't pressure him so much...he's done a lot."
"You aren't involved in this." Ribbon glared at me next.
"I'm just saying. You are too harsh on him, you're starting to act like a mean parent to him...someone that might hurt him..."
"Don't end up like last year, Ribbon."
I accidentally mentioned something I shouldn't have.
Ribbon paused, they gritted their teeth but then stopped. He fainted but I caught them on time in my physical form.
