-Leo's POV-
A bow stood in the middle of my vision, a white void surrounded the area.
I squinted my eyes, nothing else was in the distance behind it - ...other than this bow.
I kept on having this dream for some reason, it's ominous.
The white void goes away, and my alarm for school starts blaring away.
—-!!!!!!!!!!!
My body shot itself up, I smacked the alarm.
I checked to see if I broke anything but didn't. I sighed and got up from the bed.
I yawned and stretched, I turned on the dim lights, and my eyes burned a little. I groaned and turned off the light. I went to my bathroom and brushed my hair, it was tangled, like a lot.
Having depression is an asshole...I couldn't bring myself to brush my hair but I was able to have a bath. I groaned again and pulled the hairbrush down. I yelped and winced at the pain and eventually kept brushing until it was straight.
I got my clothes ready and stepped into the shower. The hot water left me dazed for a moment, I sighed and went to cleaning.
-
I dried myself, brushed a bit of my hair, and dressed myself up. I decided to wear flair pants, with a belt, and a turtleneck. I grabbed my bag and threw my phone in there.
-
I ran to my best friend's house, Indigo.
1 month ago, she got into an accident - some reckless driver. Her dad...
He didn't make it.
Her mom takes care of her now, Indigo is recovering well and she might get a cane soon. I come over and help her to school.
As I arrived, I knocked on the door and waited. I could hear footsteps, and it was Indigo's mom.
"Hello, Ms. Smith. How's Indigo?"
I removed my shoes and went to the living room."Indigo has been great, thank you so much for coming over, sweetheart."
Ms. Smith is an amazing woman and mom. She was always there for Indigo and accepted her for who she wanted to be, a girl. I'm so proud of both.
I noticed Indigo near the windows, staring outside. Her white bows stood out, and the light shined down. In her hands, she held a teacup.
Indigo notices me and smiles, She sets her teacup on a nearby table. She put her arms out for a hug, and I accepted it. "Good morning. A good start?" I sat down with her.
She nodded, "Good." She mumbled as she stared outside again. I grabbed her bag off the couch, "That's great to hear, you ready?"
Indigo nodded.
"You two be safe now, okay? Have a great day you two!" Ms. Smith shouted from the kitchen, I shouted back, "You too, miss!"We exited and made our way to school. It wasn't that far and the walk there was relaxing. The breeze feels amazing, the weather is perfect, and it's not too noisy outside.
