A few days later

"You're ENGAGED?" Aimee screams down the phone
"Oh my god oh my god"
You laugh "calm down Jesus"
"CALM DOWN MY BEST FRIEND IS GETTING MARRIED TO HER PROFESSOR OH MY GOD"
"Aimee he's not my professor anymore" you laugh
"Oh yeah I forgot he's an actor..has anyone noticed him yet"
"Not really there's some people that's said he looks like someone they know but I don't think that they realise it's actually him from lucifer"
"Omg have you told Alex?"
"No I can't get ahold of him"
"Oh crap yeah I forgot to tell you he's in Thailand"
"Thailand? Why is he there" you ask
"He seen a TikTok of a waterfall in Thailand and he wanted to go see it so he booked time off work and went"
"That's the most random thing ever"
Aimee laughs "tell me about it..hey I've got to go but I'll call you back Kay?"
"Okay"
"I miss you so much"
You smile "I miss you too"
And the call ends

Tom comes into your office
"Darling someone's at the door for you..I think it's a delivery person"
"But I haven't ordered anything" you say and Tom shrugs before heading out.
You get up and make your way to the front door.
"Hi there" a boy smiles.
"Oh my god" you squeal.
"Alex?" You say and jump in his arms where he then spins with you in his arms and you and him laugh.
He finally puts you down and you look at him confused.
"I was just on the phone to your sister..she said you was in Thailand?"
He nods "yeah I was but I have a 7 hour wait till my next flight is and we happen to change at LAX for some reason so I called an Uber to your place..obviously I told Tom before just incase you guys decide to go out and I arrive and you're not here"
"Oh god, I've missed you" you say hugging him
"I miss you too"
You and Alex part from the hug.
"I've got something to tell you" you grin
"You're pregnant?"
You laugh "gosh no..but I am engaged" you wiggle your finger in front of him.
"Holy shit you're going to be a WIFE oh my god congratulations ______"
"Thank you" you smile.. "want to come in?"
"Absolutely..oh hey man" Alex says as he sees Tom
"Alex hi" and they hug
It's strange seeing them actually get on since the last time they were properly around each other was when Alex wanted to kill tom.
"Aww look at you both, so adorable"
"Shut up" they say at the same time
You laugh "oh wow you're even saying things at the same time...I think I'm the wrong person you're Marrying baby" you say to tom
"I don't think so sweetheart" he says before kissing you and you kiss him back.
Alex makes heaving noises so you and tom part from the kiss.
"Give him a tour before he vomits on our floor" he chuckles.
"Okay" you smile
"I love you"
"I love you too sweetheart"

Three weeks later
Tom comes home from work, you've rarely been on set because you've mainly been working from home which is cool because whenever you're on set it's hectic and it makes you want to go back to working a basic job.
"Hi darling"
"Oh hey how was work"
"Pretty good actually..well apart from being on a rope and lifted up in the air"
You laugh "aren't your stunt doubles meant to do all of that stuff"
"They are but I got curious and asked if I could do my own stunt..should of stayed curious"
You laugh and shake your head
"So how are you?" Tom asks
"I'm good..just been editing some scripts because Kevin keeps messing up one of the lines apparently so I'm going to put in the line that he keeps replacing my line with"
"Sounds fun"
"Indeed"
"Can i hug you" tom asks.
You laugh "tom there's no need to ask" you say before hugging him and he wraps his arms around you.
"I've missed you baby" he mumbles
"I've missed you too"
You part from the hug and tom kisses you and you kiss him back.
"I can't wait to marry you" tom says
"Stop it" you blush
"No" tom smiles and then adds "speaking about that we need to start talking about plans"
Before you could answer your phone rings.
"Shit give me a second"
"Hello?" You say answering your phone
"Hey is this ______"
"Yes it is..who's asking?"
"Christen Paulette..your name and information was given to me a few days ago after I looked into having one of my books turned into a movie..oh yeah by the way I should of said this from the start I'm an author"
That name sounds so familiar..
"Anyway I was wondering if you would like to be apart of the movie do some writing maybe even some acting..if you don't know who I am and if you're interested I could email you the book I'm basing the movie off..I just love your writing style and I'd think you'd make a perfect job"
"Oh wow..um sure why not" you say
"Oh that's great I'll send you everything via email and when you've read my book and 100% decided give me a call back"
Within seconds of ending the call you get the email.
After reading over things you squeal.
Tom looks at you as if you've gone crazy.
"Oh my god oh my god" you squeal
"What's happening?" Tom asks
"Okay so I was just on call with this woman who wants me to help her with turning her book into a movie and she sent me the book and a few details by email and I've just realised who it is and I'm going to cry so bad she wants me to turn her book into a movie the book I've been obsessed with for years!" You say quickly without taking a breath of air.
Tom chuckles.
"Slow down darling"
"I can't I'm so excited and I'll lose my shit if I get to play a role even though I'm probably terrible at acting but still"
Tom stares at you for what seems like forever with a smile on his face.
"What's wrong?..you're slightly intimidating me" you laugh.
"Nothings wrong I'm just really proud of you" he says as he plants a kiss on your forehead.
