"ADAM!" Ashley screams. Adam turns around to look at Ashley. Adam's face goes pale as the sight he sees devastates him.
In front of him, he sees his bassist, Tommy Joe Ratliff, laying on the stage, bleeding from his chest as Ashley is kneeled beside him. Adam drops the mic that was in his hand and immediately runs over to Tommy, dropping to his knees on the other side of him.
"Tommy!" Adam yells as he looks down at Tommy, who doesn't give a reply. Now that he is closer, Adam realizes something. Tommy had been shot in the chest.
"Ashley, go call an ambulance, now!" Adam yells, looking up at Ashley with fear in his eyes. Ashley nods as she stands up and runs back stage. Adam looks back down at Tommy and gently lifts his head up with his right arm.
"Tommy, can you hear me? Please Tommy, if you can hear me, say something. Anything. Or at least open your eyes. Please." Adam begs as there's no response.
"Hurry, Ashley. Please hurry." Adam whispers to himself softly.
"Please, Tommy. Wake up." Adam says, his voice breaking a little. Only now was Adam realizing how much he actually cared about Tommy. Adam's eyes widen when he saw Tommy slowly opening his eyes. Slowly, but surely.
"Tommy! Tommy, please, listen to me. Just hang on, okay? You'll be alright. I don't know how yet, but you'll be alright. Just hang on.."
