"We don't need that much popcorn Daph." My friend, Anaya, laughs as I order what might be the biggest bucket of popcorn anyone's ever seen. "I'm not taking any risks, we've been waiting for this screening for two years! I will not have us missing any of it for more snacks."

I reach across the counter to grab the rest of the food I ordered. Giving the very patient worker a "thank you" before turning to head into the darkened theater.

The room was huge and alive with chatter, years of waiting and it was finally here. I grabbed Anayas hand and gave it a tight squeeze of excitement before pulling her toward our row.

I scrunch up as much as I can to scoot past other eager Duskers to my spot, managing to only lose a little popcorn off the top of my bucket.

I plop into my seat smiling brightly in anticipation. A spotlight shows on the dark stage lighting on a single girl with six other dark figures behind her.

"Welcome." She says lifting her hands in the air for an extra touch. The setting really adds to the theme of the upcoming movie. Everyone claps as she keeps speaking, "to the special fan screening of Dusk three, unbitten."

"When you see what's in store for you tonight, well, you'll just die." More cheers and Anaya leans over close to me, amazement in her gaze, "This is such a cool touch." I nod my head in agreement.

"But first let's not forget the door prize." This made Anaya reach over and shake me, "I hope it's a T-shirt!" She squeals and I laugh, "You already have like five." She shrugs her shoulders, "hoping to make it six," she halfway jokes before turning back to the stage with crossed fingers.

The girl reaches into her bag drawing out a single sheet of paper, "And we have a winner, ticket two-o-five!" A girl three rows back shoots up and excitedly runs to the stage as the winner.

Anaya looks down in disappointment and I pat her shoulders to comfort her, "Maybe next time, Ana."

Everyone's attention is stolen when a man in all-black clothing steps towards the winner and pulls her forward going for her neck. He appears to bite it and she drops to the ground, various people gasp but then seem impressed.

His face comes back into view and I can swear I can see blood on his teeth, like actual blood. My breathing hitches but what makes me start to sweat is when a glowing blue orb floats up and into a small wooden chest.

"Didn't that seem a little too real to you?" I ask Anaya panic laced in my voice. "Oh, come on Daph, it's special effects, projections, and fake blood." Maybe she was right, I wipe my hands on my pants and try to relax.
