I turn the page in my boring history book and start to silently read it to myself. The library was so quiet you could hear a pen drop and I was trying to not disturb others but I wasn't retaining a thing this book said. "History? Lame!" A familiar voice came from behind me.

"Benny would you keep your voice down?" I scolded dragging him by his shirt into the seat next to me. "What are you even doing here? You hate the library." He nodded his head, "True. But you know what I don't hate? You- Oh, and our assignment which has been neglected."

I scoffed, "Oh don't look at me like it's my fault. We've been busy with all that werewolf nonsense and I'm not the one who turned my best friend into a snarling beast." Benny nervously laughs and rubs the back of his neck. "Pointing fingers won't help anyone here."

"Just tell me what you want or get lost." I tried to flip the page in my book but it was swiped from under me. "You," he points his hand at me. "Me," he points back to himself. "My house tonight."

He leaned back and smiled as if he had just offered me the opportunity of a lifetime. I, on the other hand felt it was one chore I wasn't going to get out of. "What are the chances of you leaving me alone until I say yes?" He didn't miss a beat, "Zero."

I slid the book back over to myself and did not look up at him, "fine. Five work good for you?" I could see Benny do a fist bump into the air out of the corner of my eye but he then cleared his throat and talked as casual as he could, "I guess I could squeeze you in at five."

"I have a test later so leave now before I change my mind."

I handed over my history test with a sneaking suspicion that I utterly flunked it. Once Benny left the library my attempts of studying were crushed. I couldn't help but think about what I was getting myself into. Spending time with Benny, alone? Was this really the best idea?

Benny was doing a research project on me but that didn't mean he needed to know everything but what if he pride? What if I freak out? What if I can't handle the pressure?

I know if Benny and I stay friends he would eventually find out about Anaya but not yet. Not for a while. I'm not ready.

Speaking of not ready... "don't you have something you should be doing?" Sarah stood right outside the door of my class and ambushed me. I tried to avoid her and walk in the opposite direct but she was quick to grab onto my arm and pull me back around to face her, "not so fast. You promised you talk to Erica."
