California's summer wasn't something tied to food memories necessarily.

With the air as hot as ever, Jimin woke up drift in sweat; of course, he didn't notice at first. The first thing he did was sitting on his bed and stare into the nothingness. His nightmares wouldn't leave him alone ever since four months ago.

His body felt weird. Trying to understand why, he found himself touching his legs and chest, then arms and neck...he couldn't figure what exactly but it all felt tingly like invaded for some kind of feeling. Totally confused, he finished with his fingers on his face and eventually on his lips. The moment he felt them, the moment he found the reason: someone was missing.

"Chim!" Namjoon's voice interrupted from the hotel door.

Quickly, Jimin walked towards it and opened it.

"Thank God you're awake," Namjoon immediately exclaimed, visibly nervous "I need you to get ready and help me."

"What is it?" Jimin asked, but received a clench of fist and a severe puppy eyes. "Man, don't tell me..."

"I could've swear I left them in the backpack!" Namjoon tried to defend himself but Jimin was already done.

"Hyung this is the third time already, get a grip of yourself! You can't continue loosing passports like this!" Jimin groaned but ultimately sighed. "I'll help you, just, don't do anything."

"Thanks." Namjoon smiled relieved at last. He had been searching around his room all morning. "The others are ready to go, they're in the car."

"What time is it?" Jimin asked, looking around as if he too had lost something.

"Around twelve?" The leader rised an eyebrow but then the door in front of him slapped.

Inside the dorm Jimin went hysterical. How tired had he been to sleep for so long? God damn his horrendous habit of always being so late!

He hurried to change, not even bathe and brush his teeth. Fortunately his suitcase was already done and he only had to close it and drag it outside.

Namjoon had counted six minutes before a ready Jimin was already out. Without a word then, he followed the younger boy to his own room and, after searching for what seemed like years, he finally found his long-lowt passport in the bathroom, in a little corner behind the sink.

In the parking lot of the hotel, the rest five boys were loosing patience.

"We're going to miss the flight!" Taehyung complained, trying to stay calm and steady about the whole thing.

Out of the blue, the doors of the building opened, letting a Namjoon and Jimin heavy breathing, outside it. Several staff members hurried to take their suitcases and put them in the back, while the akward-looking members lacking got in the car.

Jimin sat next to Jungkook on the left, careful to not disturb the younger's sleep. Namjoon sat across him, panicking.

"I'm sorry, it won't happen again." He apologized, blushed and severely affected by the possibility of losing their departure time.

"Don't worry." Jin reassured the leader. "It's a private flight anyway."

"Yeah but we have to be in Hong Kong by night!" Taehyung argued from the backseat, Him turned to give him a fed up stare and went back to the leader.

"Did you found them?" Jin asked, trying to shut Taehyung and his annoying ass.

"Yeah." Namjoon replied, relief and starting to get calmer, thanks partially to Jin and his mere presence.
