Jimin was fixing his hair sitting at the table alone. He glanced at the clock on the wall of the VIP room, sighing as he saw that it was still ten minutes to eight.

Jungkook made an appointment at seven thirty.

An expensive restaurant, too expensive for an ordinary person to walk in casually, and private in such a way that almost no one knew about the three VIP rooms in the back. Jungkook liked that place. It was Mediterranean food.

He had invited him the day before with a phone call, saying that it was something that only concerned them and that therefore it was not worth calling the others.

Jimin thought about it quite a bit before going there. He had been in a very unhealthy up-and-down relationship with Jungkook for the last few months, and he really wanted it to end soon. It bothered him that he had started it all and now he himself was the one who couldn't get it out of his head.

He was already over it when he got engaged. He told himself that he couldn't see him anymore and that his feelings weren't worth it, even though he could barely understand them.

Then, weirdly, Jungkook started flirting with him when he was engaged. Jimin remembered the tour, the secret kiss, his silly drunkenness in the strange city, the desire to have him again.

It sounded like a fucking The Weekend song. Jungkook was a fucking The Weekend song.

And yet there he was, sitting waiting for the dumbest man in the world. He was just beginning to hum when the doors to the room opened.

Shit. He looked really cute.

"Sorry, I seem to have lost my car keys and had to call a taxi." Jungkook spoke with a big smile on his face, he wouldn't admit it but he was enthralled with the delicate figure that Jimin showed behind his thick lips and candid gaze.

Jimin wasn't far behind, unable to help but notice the contrast between his own thin clothing and Jungkook's, with combat boots and thick leather jackets.

"It doesn't matter, Jin Hyung will have taken them." Jimin avoided looking directly into his eyes, so as not to blush. "Anyway, uh... what do you want to order?"

Jungkook turned over the menu, biting his lower lip. He ordered something simple and Jimin followed him, when the waiter left the room they found each other again, looking into each other's eyes.

"Well...tell me then."

"What thing?" He feigned ignorance.

"So you wanted to see me alone...?" Jimin reminded him, somewhat surprised, and totally confused when Jungkook nodded laughing.

"Sure, sure...sorry, it's just...I'm...I don't know." He took a moment to play with the napkins on the table, letting a long moment pass in which the tedium only grew cold until he blurted out: "Yabuki lost the child."

Jimin's face immediately filled with horror. He lowered his hands from the table and was surprised when Jungkook, without having a hint of regret on his face, remained happy and motivated.

"I don't understand...what does that have to do with me?" Jimin asked, uncomfortable with the whole situation. His companion looked away and continued smiling.

"What is this, time is up." Those words made them look each other in the eyes. "I told you it would be over, but I didn't think this would happen. Do you know what it means?"

Jimin shook his head, wanting to disappear. The man in front of him reached under the table for his hand and shook it.

"We can be together again, Jiminie."

He didn't know how to respond to that, so he just looked into his eyes. He hadn't said anything about how Yabuki was doing, or about the engagement or what had happened to keep it a secret. To Jimin, that only meant one thing.

Without thinking much he let go of his hand, got up and started to leave the place. Jungkook called him, but seeing that he didn't respond he decided to follow him outside, grabbed him by the shoulder and turned him around to confront him.

"Honey, what's wrong?"

"Let go!" Jimin pulled out forcefully. A silence surrounded them both.

"Honey, Hyung, what's wrong? Why are you like this all of a sudden?" Jungkook asked but Jimin just gave an annoyed half smile.

"You want to sleep with me so much then, that you don't care what happened to her...you don't care about anything, right? I was such a good lover for you?" He said it calmly, slowly and without hindrance, leaving Jungkook to just stare at him, confused.

"You were the one who was sad... I thought this was what you wanted."

"I would never have wished death on your son!" Jimin frowned and bellowed. "You were the one who played with both of them from the beginning and now look at you! You don't have a son!"

"But  I have you." Jungkook took him by the shoulders and smiled lovingly. "It hurts but, you're all that matters to me. Everything I have." He caressed her face slowly and brought their foreheads together. The street was dark and alone, and it was only under that protection that she suddenly had the courage to kiss him. Jimin reciprocated, but when he finished he walked away from him.

"No, Jungkook. Just because I love you doesn't give you the right to this."

Having said that, Jimin left.
