To those who try
and are alone in parenting,
to those that keep a straight face
so their kids will feel save.
Men who are considered
less parents,
that feel dads only
when their child is in your hands.
No superheroes, just people who chose to lead those kids
through the pain of living,
protecting them
with everything you have.
Sometimes they're not yours
and yet still
they've never been more close.
But in the end,
the best thing you'll ever do,
it's the child you took care of
as well as you could.
