I've always been terrified by the water,
but a lot more by the war.
They've told me that on the other side there's peace.
I got on this boat,
with thousands of others
with the same fear ,
hoping to reach that peaceful side;
just like all of them.
But the boat crumbled,
my face got wet,
my chest filled up with water and my future drowned
in it.
And I became part of the sea.
Invisible to the eye
but I wish to scream that I'm still down here,
with a name no one knows and
a life I've never owned.X.EREN
