20 years,
maybe less,
that's how long it took me
to let her free again;
not completely yet,
but I'm getting there.20 years,
some more surely will come,
before I'll be able to live like everyone;
before I'll be able to follow my dream,
before I'll show to the world
that I'm serious about it.20 years,
I'll not accept one more,
before I'll prove to myself that I can;
cause I'm tired of waiting to be ready,
tired of not loving what I'm doning,
tired of not being where I wish
where I'd reather be.20 years,
that's how long I've known
I had to be different from right now,
that's how long I've been fighting
to be who I'm supposed to be,
but I won't rush it,
so that when I'll be fully prepared,
I won't need to step back ever again.X.EREN
