"Wyatt, how long has it been since you've started dating (Y/n)?" Larry asked, shocked with the question Wyatt had just asked. "You know she loves you, Wyatt, and besides, you're the most confident one on the team! I wouldn't be surprised if Brandon came and asked this."
"I-I know but," Wyatt paused, not believing that stutters were leaving his lips. "She makes me nervous, still, despite being with her for 5 years, still she makes me have butterflies. I still can't properly look in her eyes, every time I do I fall in love all over again and mess up my words-I just love her. I.. I want to propose to her, Larry, I just don't know how."
"Like this," Larry said promptly, kneeling down, pretending to hold out a ring, earning a deadpan from Wyatt. Larry laughed it off before shaking his head. "I'm just messing with you. You need three things, the guts, the ring, and the idea. You got those you're all set!"
Throughout the month, Larry and Wyatt had plotted on how Wyatt was gonna propose to you properly. It was finally time, he took you out skating. Larry knew the guy who owned the skating rink, and he was in on it. You better believe that Larry will go all out for something like this, even if he wasn't the one proposing. Wyatt had that pitting feeling in his stomach every two seconds, but he pushed it down, pretending that it was just a skating date you two were on. That's when he fell to his knee and acted as if he got hurt. Suddenly, he pulled out the ring and you began to cry. He had the most nervous grin on his face as he stared into your beautiful (e/c) eyes and said. "(Y/n).. ever since I metcha, you've made me the happiest, and I want to make you the happiest for the rest of your life. Will ya marry me?" There was a pause before you nodded.
"Y-Yes!" You hiccuped because you were crying so much. You stretched out your hand and he slid the ring on your ring finger with a grin, standing up and hugging you. To your surprise, he let go and started crying. It was a happy cry, and it wasn't loud, but you could feel the joyful breaths he was taking as you hugged him tighter. As he pulled away, he stared into your eyes.
"YEEHAW SHE SAID YES-" Wyatt suddenly yelled, forgetting he was on skates, losing balance and falling. "WO-WOAH!" He blushed a little as you giggled at his accidental stunt.
"That was beautiful!" Larry cried out suddenly, you shocked and Wyatt already smiling, standing up to the best of his ability. "Now, I know a guy for the photoshoot. You two have my blessing."
"Thanks Larry." Wyatt grinned.
"Wait," You pieced it together. "You helped plan this?" Larry laughed.
"Wyatt had the idea!" Larry told you, you smirking up at Wyatt. "Before you ask, he's had this idea for a whole month now! He kept going on about how he's so in love with you." You seen Wyatt blush a little as he rubbed the back of his neck.
"Yeah it was somethin' I've been thinking 'bout doin' for a while now.." You couldn't help but smile to yourself as Wyatt bashfully didn't make eye contact with you, you pulling him down to your level and kissing his cheek. He was in shock for a second before grinning at you. "Aw shucks, I love ya (Y/n)."
"I love you too, Wyatt."
