Summer Love

The Arrival

My first thought was: OMG, the time has come, we're going now. That's going to be great 3 weeks!

I had breakfast and put on my clothes. I decided to wear a black leggings and a longer blue top. For safety I also put on a vest. Because I didn't know how warm it was on the bus or at the Baltic Sea, currently it was 50°F warm.

Then i put on some decent makeup, which included a black eyeliner and a mascara. I let my hair down.

Afterwards I went downstairs and told my mom that we could go now.

My suitcase (which was a really big one tho) already was in the car. We got in the car. During the drive we didn't really talk to each other, probably because both of us were pretty tired.

After 15 minutes we arrived at the school. I got out of the car and took my suitcase out of the trunk.

Then my mom got out of the car and hugged me really tight. "Take care of yourself.", she whispered and I anwsered "Of course mom, I'm almost 16, don't worry, bye." and ran to the school.

From a distance I could already see Helena. She stood in front of the school with Nina. I ran over to them and hugged them. Nina was a really good friend of ours.

We didn't talk, because Nina, Helena and I weren't that talkative in the morning.

Slowly more and more students arrived just as the teachers and the 3 buses. Every class had their own bus. We stowed our suitcases in the trunk of the bus and got onto it.

Most of us, like me, slept for a while. After 7 hours I woke up, chatted with my friends and played games on my phone and texted Helena. Sadly she wasn't in my bus, because she was in an other class. We texted eachother for about 4 hours, we always found something to text about. 1 hour later we arrived and fortunately we could directly go into our rooms.

The rooms were for 2, and i shared one with Helena. First of all we layed down on the bed, because the drive was kinda long and exhausting.

1 hour later we could go eat dinner, meanwhile it was 6 p.m. I couldn't remember to be that hungry, like ever. After dinner we went back to our rooms and I looked at it properly for the first time.

We had a small living room including a sofa and a TV, a bathroom including a shower, a sink and a toilet. A bedroom including double beds, 2 big closets and a balcony.

Straight away I went outside. The view of the beach was absolutely amazing.

Then I went inside again and watched TV with Helena.

It was very sticky in our room, so I decided to go on the balcony again. Just now the sun set. The sunset looked beautiful, so I decided to go down to the beach.

I wanted to ask Helena if she wants to come with me, but then I saw that she fell asleep on the sofa. I didn't want to wake her up, so I wrote on a letter that I was outside in case she wakes up.

I put on my shoes and went to the beach.

The sunset seemed more beautiful outside. Suddenly I noticed footsteps behind me....
