Chloe was was standing at her locker when she heard someone clear there throat. She closed her locker confused she wanted to make sure that she was really seeing him. "Parker?" She didn't think that she had randomly started hallucinating at school.

Parked leaned against the locker looking at his old friend he was happy to see that she at least looked like she was happier. He didn't even think he could recall how often he found her looking over her shoulder or worried about something happening. "Hi Salvatore."

"Parker what are you doing here?" Chloe knew that he didn't just up and decide to come see her while she was at school in Italy.

"Besides going to school here I felt like I should check up on you guys." He was worried about her especially since he'd found out that she wasn't in the states no more.

"Did Jackie send you?" Chloe hadn't talked to her aunt much so she wondered if she was the reason he had decided to check on them.

He didn't like Jackie and he didn't really listen to anything that she ever said but it involved both Chloe and Natalia and that changed things. "She nicely suggested that having a friend after this big change would be good for you. A familiar face if you will."

"You didn't have to come they are my family and everything is fine." He had no reason to worry Chloe knew that she was safe with her family they weren't going to hurt her.

"It just past your mother death date i know better than that." Parker knew that maybe they were safe to be around but it didn't have anything to do with her past haunting her or the fact that her mother's death day had just past.

She was sure that this was the best she ever felt after the death day of her mother went by and she didn't want to think about why that was. "Ok so maybe it is a little hard but I'm fine."

"So any new guys?" He didn't think there were but this was America and there was a chance she could have finally found someone that she liked. That or she could help him find someone.

Chloe rolled her eyes looking at him she had no intentions of helping him score a date. "No i am not setting you up with anyone."

Parker scoffed feigning hurt he couldn't believe that she didn't want to help him. She was supposed to help him get dates what else were friends for. "You're supposed to be my wingwoman."

"No." Chloe scolded making sure to look him in his eye so he knew that she meant business.

Parker could see he was going to find a guy all on his own which he already knew was going to be no fun. But maybe just maybe his best friend had finally let someone get close to her. "Fine what about you?"

"It's complicated." She did not want to talk about that either right now she would rather talk about anything that she had missed.

"I was joking!" Now he was intrigued had she really let someone past her cold exterior he was dying to know. "There is someone who?"

Chloe wished she had just stuck with no and kept it going she knew that he was going to pry until he learned every detail. "There's no one."

Parker was not letting her get away this easy something had changed since she had been here and now he understood what and wanted to know exactly what had led to it. "Complicated explain."

"I've been training against my brothers and sisters wishes." It was weird she had never thought she would find someone who cared about her or her well being she was so used to everyone just wanting something from her. "And it's just weird having someone who cares about me."

Parker nodded he understood why it was weird for her she didn't like help. She refused to ask and she would train until she pushed her every limit which was not good for her. "You're used to doing everything yourself and used to everyone just leaving you be."
