Here is an author's note of what to expect:
I am not basing this story off of the retelling movie. As much as I enjoyed it along with the additions of Nico Robin and Franky(heck even the Sunny too)in the film, I want this story to be true to the original Drum Island season/arc.
Prepare for lots of angst and some bits of blood. This story is gonna come packing with it.
Everyone is in their pre timeskip appearances(including my OC)since Drum Island takes place during the Super Rookies saga, the first half of the One Piece series.
As stated in the story bio, spoilers to Drum Island are in this story, but you don't have to know the series to read onwards. My recommendation would be to watch the actual season/arc or the retelling film, but you all can do you.
