"Now don't you understand? This...is the true power of a pirate!" Mirai exclaimed to Chopper, who still continued to look at Luffy holding Hiriluk's flag in awe. By her friend's face, Mirai knew that Chopper had finally understood what it really meant to be a pirate. He finally realized that his place was with the Straw Hats and sailing around the world with his Mirai. "Hey Chopper! Same applies with you Mirai!" Luffy exclaimed as he looked up at the hearing of his name. The hybrid did the same thing.
The rubber boy actually smiled at the two as he exclaimed, "I'm going to kick their butts for showing disrespect to your friends' flag! Are you two in or what?" Mirai nodded and formed a fist, addressing her captain as Chopper hesitated for a moment. Wapol just laughed it away as he exclaimed, "If you're dying to protect that flag so easily, then I'll take the two of you down together!" Sanji raced over to Wapol to deflect his attack, but his backbone gave out, making Kureah sigh. She ran over to him and kicked his back, making the cook collaspe.
Mirai sighed and shook her head. Still, she couldn't help but laugh at Sanji in the process. Wapol just laughed in response, preparing to shoot Luffy again, but both Chopper and Mirai rushed into battle screaming, "STOP IT!" Their hopes were burning brighter than ever before as Luffy stuck Hiriluk's flag back on top of the castle. "Now that's the spirit! Go get em you two!" he exclaimed.
Both Chopper and Mirai exclaimed battle cries as they prepared to go in for the attack on Wapol, the fusion of Wapol's men blocking and deflecting the attack from the two Devil Fruit wielders. One from the fist and one from the leg. Sanji watched the two fight while he was still down, Kureah actually getting impressed as to what was happening. "Looks like the furball and his assistant both have more courage than fully grown adults!" she exclaimed as both Chopper and Mirai flinched back.
Chessmarimo laughed, and Wapol just smirked in response. "We're not letting you touch our king!" the fusion's faces said in unison. Mirai happened to watch Chopper return to his normal form as he stood next to her, and she was still in hybrid form too as her tail swished back and forth. Afterwards, she faced the men with a stern look on her face. "Wow. seems as if they're lots of weird things out there. You must be that "yeti" the villagers hated. They all tried to chase you away right?" the fusion then spoke.
Mirai then got enraged just by hearing them speak trash about her mentor as her hands turned into a fist. Chopper didn't even flinch next to her. He just stayed still, eyes focused on his target. The fusion known as Chessmarimo continued to talk trash about Chopper and laugh, Mirai getting mad as she screamed, "You're wrong about the no friends part! He has me! His student and true best friend! The two of us can still fight for the country we love! Even as the flag still flies, we will fight!"
Chopper spoke up: "She's right! Mirai is my student and the only true friend I ever knew! We'll fight together like the siblings that we are!" Luffy soon shouted from something from above as both reindeer and her turned to see Luffy slingshot himself off of the castle and down to the snowy floor. "Mirai isn't your only friend! I'm your friend too!" the rubber boy exclaimed as he crashed into the ground, sending snow flying into Wapol and Chessmarimo's faces.
Mirai gasped in horror as Chopper yelled, "Oh no Straw Hat!" as the snow began to whip around their faces from where Luffy crashed. He was still standing though as he smirked, straightening out his straw hat. Mirai sighed in relief once again. Chopper was just mind blown. "You should be flat as a pancake right now!" he exclaimed. Chuckling, Luffy replied with, "You have no need to worry. After all, I am a rubber man." Chopper then remembered what Mirai told him about the fact that he was a monster like the two of them.
When Chessmarimo got up, Luffy said, "Hey. Think you two can take out the two headed guy? I wanna see your true power!" Both her and Chopper turned to the fusion with Mirai saying, "Him? Oh this should be easy." She cracked her knuckles with Chopper nodding in advance. Luffy smiled happily at the response as he turned to Wapol, preparing to face his opponent head on with fists and cannons.
